Sarah- can you add a pinstitch by machine after attaching the lace to give the appearance of entredeaux? Like for a puff sleeve edge or the hem of a slip.
hey there, kinda having trouble visualizing what's going on with your project, but you may find that spraying your materials with starch will help. other things that might help are using stabilizer (either stitch in the ditch or a water soluble), trying a different pressure foot, or using a little wooden stick (pointed on one end) to hold the pieces together while they are sewn, or maybe the sewline glue pen to temporary hold the two together. good luck!
I just LOVE your videos!! Please keep them coming because they are very helpful and I love your taste!
Thank you!! I am sewing a flat white fabric to a lace fabric for a window pane.
Which pressure foot do you use to attaché entredeux to fabric of to lace?
Thanks!
I'm trying to sewrows of flat lace between tiers in a peasant skirt. I like to serge all my seams. How would I do this?
I'm not that familiar with serging... So I'm not sure. Maybe you could use a tiny rolled seam or something?
