Cade Otton stepped up in week 2. We need to see this consistently.
He did well he'll get open more once the defenses have to start worrying about the receivers mid season Baby G 2.0

Lets face it, Otton didn't do much run blocking last year because the Bucs didn't run the ball that often.
Sad but true
I understand Bakers is our QB so we need to play conservative and win with defense but I'm not huge on the "if they give you the yards take it" as an offensive philosophy. I would rather have a balance of more designed plays to stretch the field. It's really hard to go the length of the field with 3 and 5 yard ins, outs, hitches, and slants, you essentially allow the defense to dictate what your doing on offense which is what any bend but don't break defense wants. They want the offense to have to have long drives that require perfect execution and no penalties which is near impossible.
Our best offense ever was the balance of the Brady Dink and Dunk with the Arians no risk it no biscuit. Hopefully we can start taking some more deep shots moving forward especially with our weapons and the oline playing well enough to allow deeper routes to develop!
It’s built in to get explosives. Had a 20 yard run on the first play of the game but Hainsey blocked the wrong guy. Godwin had two TDs but him and Baker not on the same page. It will get there with time. But with that said they are playing offense the smart way and not forcing the issue.
