    I can't focus on learning when the instructor is far more gorgeous than that Svetlana girl.

      Michael Lobato , some correction - you should say "Вы красивая", if you refer to a female. "Вы красивый" refers to a male.
      Good luck with Russian and welcome to my channel with Russian lessons as well :)

      I did made the same in mine first english lesson. I made one little joke for my young teacher and I said so confidence.: " My name is Michael but calls me beautiful". And she laughs with my face. Спасибо.

      ***** if you fully know Russian :D why do you say "Ты красивая?"
      To address the people who you don't know the polite way is to use "Вы".

    I didn't even know most of that, although from Russia.
    Don't belive her. We drink vodka on all holidays, and it is not customary have a snack after the first stoparik. If you are going to the Russia, learn toast quotes and take much vodka with you.

    Why do russian speak so fast

    • @sonyaschmidt6674
      @sonyaschmidt6674 10 лет назад +1

      The speed was an issue for me as well. I used online software to divide the video into bits and loop them to practice www.stepup.io/videos/b046033c43a827e5

      ***** I'd disagree. She speaks quite fast even for native speakers.

      ***** да,я русская. Согласна, в обычной речи может быть быстрее. Но может быть и такой как у Анастасии в этом уроке. Для урока же, я считаю, она говорит слишком быстро и не совсем чётко.
