Yep, I travelled to what the internet deems the least visited country in the world. The reality is that the statistics behind this are far from perfect. Many of these small countries don't actually count how many people come visit. So it's very hard to really tell which country truly has the least visitors. Either way, I went to Tuvalu, which is somewhere in the bottom of the list... and my experience was shocking.

NEXT WEEK. BIGGEST SEEK DISCOMFORT DROP EVER. GET HYPED. Now to add a note on climate change, what's happening to Tuvalu is heartbreaking... We're trying really hard to work on our emissions. We're the first to admit that we're far from perfect and have a long way to go. We're educating ourselves on how we can be better and we carbon offset all our flights, which is a start but obviously not a final solution. We're actively experimenting with ways to improve and we'll be talking more about it in future videos! I'm feeling super grateful after this trip and I'm so excited I got to share this incredible experience with you all. Love -Thomas

It actually makes me so happy to see that there are still places like this in the world, especially a tropical island, that are not overrun by tourists. The country exists just for its own people, and they clearly are so loving. Beautiful!
Tuvalu is so heart melting
I know how to destroy it a whole lot faster than the rising waters. Just allow illegal aliens to enter like they are elsewhere in the world.
Man, I want to go to Tuvalu now. This is a beautiful country. We can learn something from them.🇹🇻
theyre gonna sink by the end of the century and theyre going to become the worlds first digital nation.
Better go before it's gone
But what will you eat? A whole unseasoned chicken and fries?
The Pacific islands are definitely not a culinary destination. I'd kill to open a badass restaurant out there (I'd have the market cornered), but all the ingredients would need to be imported and it would cost an arm and a leg to fly it in. The cost would be so high that none of the locals could afford to eat there, so I'd go out of business anyway.

We flew there 25 years ago from Fiji in June and when we landed we were the 3rd and 4th tourists to visit that year. We stayed for 3 weeks and on the 4th day there was a cyclone for 3 days. It was also the 10th anniversary of their independence and a large celebration so we were invited to the party. Then it was the Queens Birthday as well. So we got and invite from the prime minister to attend. I had to borrow shoes shirt and long ants to attend. What a great place to visit , it was such and honour and we have such great memories.
There are no factories and no wildlife. How did they built the roads, houses etc. Where they study and from where they generate food etc..
@@gandharaorganicfoodsimports probably, and I once met a man from Nauru who said many of the natives there leave the island to further their education so maybe some of the ppl here do that? @@maestrojo Yeah me too, because of a video about country codes for websites that was talking about how Tuvalu got $5 million of its code `tv`, but enough of that, so once I got the name of the least visited country I decided to watch more, and I really saw this beautiful island country, and its sad that climate change is really killing this and many more islands, and we all ( and I know that ) wanna see that place, but if we all did, chances are we`d ruin it so it`s kinda good only a few people go there, but we should really work to fix climate chang and save beautiful places like that. If everyone was like these people there would be no wars and no stupid gangs. This is so rare to see.
There would be no technology either
That could easily be changed had not the worry for the country going under seas. Turbine and solar technology could run thier internet, lan and mobile tech.
I would like that, but bieng nice wont pay bills or keep you out of poverty
...Because theres nobody that will donate or build an infrastructure as I mentioned above as an act of kindness to get them started because this world is too greedy and careless. I know if i had hundreds of millions to tens of billions like the 2% of the world, I would happily help them along with setting up a few deep sea fishing boats for them. All that unfished water can bring them lots of money. Theres many ways they can make money from trade and still keep a free trade within the Islands. LOL, I get what you are saying but, honestly, you would probably get treated in a very similar fashion in any small town in America or in many foreign countries. I grew up in a little hick town in Kentucky. If someone new showed up at school, everyone wanted to talk to them and be friends with them. When I was in Korea, with the military, I went against what everyone told me and I toured the country. People came out of the woodwork to talk to me, to practice their English, or to just invite me to come and eat with their family in parks.
My girlfriend laughs at me because I just start talking to people. I will see something that attracts my attention and comment to them and the next thing you know, I'm in a deep conversation with them. There is nothing stopping you from doing the same. Imagine just chilling on your porch in the least visited country on Earth and suddenly Yes Theory just walks by

I knew about Tuvalu because of a book series I read as a kid. Brings back memories, great video!
Wow. What an amazing country with such beautiful people. Id happily pack my bags now and move there for a much simpler and happier life. I hope you all go back again for another visit sometime soon x
Imagine flexing the fact that your BACKYARD and FRONT YARD is a giant pool
A pool that is the rest of the world

Life Of Eddy shut up no life bitch
Rewatching my favorite episode of Yes Theory. I thank the algorithm that I was able to come across your channel 4 years ago. You're a huge inspiration.
This made me teary eyed specially when you're about to leave and people just giving you necklaces, it's a sign of appreciation and acceptance in the community. I also love how the subscriber guy repeatedly hugs you as if he doesn't want you to leave yet lol, I kinda feel like that too when someone from other place is about to leave. Such a good experience there.
Its so cool that a person on a random island in the middle off no where knows yes theory.
Nunya Biznes two, someone didn’t go to spelling in first grade
@Nunya Biznes he means that it's incredibly remote and has no cell service, not "no where" in a condescending way. Relax.
Sarah Cottle
not everybody is as fortunate as you and can go to school and they could have another ethnicity that you aren’t familiar with and so that means they could say you didn’t go to English
@@sarahcottle8513 TF you on about? Nowhere in their sentence is the use of 'two' proper. Before you criticize someone else's use of a language, make sure you finished the first grade yourself.
@Nunya Biznes it kind of is in the middle of nowhere...sincerely someone from Rarotonga
It seems like one of the hapiest countries in the world
Yes you are right happiest country ever less community the place more in peace ✌️ ❤️
