  • This math video explains how to find a rational function that passes through two points. The specific type mention in this video is a reciprocal function with a horizontal asymptote and a vertical asymptote. To write the function, you need to solve a system of two equations using either the elimination method or the substitution method.

Even after all these years of helping students, his voice is still as recognizable it is.

I can not thank you enough for the work you do sir. Your videos are the reason I was able to get my GED, and are now my number one go to when I need help with my college math courses. Seriously I wouldn’t be where I am today without your help.

Many years ago I used to teach this stuff. I love the way you carefully explained this ... keep it simple ... after a full day of classes I would be smothered in chalk dust at least with your Smartboard (?) you will not only have neat explanations but clean shirts at the end of the day too! Not sure if you've done optimization problems but go for it if you haven't .... thanks again ... and yes ... I actually ENJOY these videos and math to this day! 🤫
