I have two video card 1080 gtx on my pc build i7... I always use 1440p instead of native 4k , because i get more better result as long there is no Aliasing..everything is in ultra except shadow quality and resolution at 1440p.. I prefer frame rate over 4k resolution.. In my eyes i cant tell the difference between 2160p native over 1440p

looks great to me!!! does the 1X ver look better?? of course it does, but trust me it's not a complete night & day difference (I've seen both versions of many games in action on 4K TV's).
people need to start understanding more that the biggest aspect which contributes to a game looking awesome has way WAAAAY more to do with artistic choice/dev talent than it does pixel counting. this is precisely why games on the PS4 pro like Spiderman, UC4, HZD, GoW and TLoU all rival and even surpass the so-called "most advanced" games out there in terms of pixel counts/native 4K.
would I prefer the pro have native 4K capabilities (the PS5 will in 2+ short yrs)?? again, of course... but games played on the pro are by no means in any way shape or form somehow less fun to play because their pixels counts aren't as high as the 1X. if something like pixel counts does suck the fun out of the experience for you when playing games, then perhaps you need to rethink why it is you play video games in the first place.
But all the games you mentioned have higher pixel counts so....

Problably going to get flamed for this, but man the textures on ps4 pro arent very good, and the draw distance isn't either . No Im not xbox or pc fanboy. I Own a gaming pc and this title, but I also own a ps4 pro and Have been a console gamer my entire life .

@@meld.6146 I have been gaming since 83. I have an identical twin brother. He has a 4k with the xbox one x and I have a 4k with the ps4 pro. Make sure to have at least a 4k with HDR10. I bought a high mid range Sony for 1500. He got a Samsung that was the same quality. We do have fun and compare. To answer your question Mel it is worth it. Only if you get a 4k with HDR10. Look for HDR10. I saw a huge difference because in Spiderman the sun was so bright at times it blinded you. The Pro is worth it for only the 4k TV. I hear people say it's worth it without it. I bought my Pro the same day my Brother bought the X on launch. It was a bigger jump with 4k and HDR from PS4 Pro from a base PS4 then a jump from PS3 to a day one PS4. Remember the jump from PS2 to PS3 with HD? Going from PS3 to PS4 PRO with 4k HDR10 felt finally like a jump in next gen. For Xbox 360 owners the jump to the X1X with 4k HDR10 is absolutely incredible. Outside of the 1 percent PC gamers this puts you above the rest in state of the art high end gaming quality. I have a lot of contacts in the gaming industry on the business side. The last big jump in fabrication happened in 2016 is why we got the Pro and X. Your good for at least 2 years till the PS5 and Xbox V series launches.
Ted Unseth thank you for that review and comparison I think I will spend the extra money and get the Pro. I already purchased a nice LG with 4K HDR 10 and HLG format. might as well put it to use for maximum gaming for the next two years atleast. I also hear PlayStation is skipping E3 2019 and there are rumors that suggest a 2020 PS5 announcement.
