As a Quirkos certified trainer, today I successfully delivered an advance training on qualitative data analysis using Quirkos at one of Pakistan's best business school, IMScieces Peshawar. The training much appreciated by the participants. Thanks Daniel for making this wonderful tutorial this really helped a lot.
When exporting, how can I view where the quotation was taken from? It only shows who said the quote but not where to find it in the transcript such as the line or paragraph or time stamp from which it was taken from. This is important when doing the final write-up so that one can find the location of the quote from the transcripts.
If your transcript includes timestamps, it will of course be shown. There is no paragraph or line count I'm afraid, as these can be so variable based on formatting
Thank you very much for this video, very interesting and helpful ! A first question... Is this software inspired by the inductive approach of grounded theory ? And, the last question.. Can we analyze, with Quirkos, links between the bubbles ? Thanks a lot in advance, Léa, a PhD student from France
Hello! Yes, definitely inpired by inductive approaches, but can also be used for framework analysis. If you use the Overlap view when right clicking on a bubble, it will show links with other bubbles
I used Quirks in my doctoral research. If you want some tips about to get rich data keeping social distance, I'll available to help you. Keep you safe!
Thank you! I am still having issues with running queries based on my properties. I know you set properties in the 1st demo but then switched to the fully categorized case study for which I was unable to view the property categorization. I am trying to run a query based on my three defined indicators set up as properties but I get identical results for each separate variable. How do I activate a property to act as the basis for a search? e.g I want to run a query over my three imported reports to see the overlap of Variable One which is set with the value of Water. My results do not filter by Water I just get the entire results of everything I coded.
Thank you so much for this clear tutorial, this is so much easier to use and affordable compared to the other coding apps. Thank you.

Hi Ricardo, I am very interested in taking up your offer of assistance. Thank you so much.

Do you have sources set for those properties? We can probably help better if you email support@quirkos.com
Hi there, in my installation it says that it cannot start a local server. I'm trying to use the trial but am not able to.
So sorry to hear that, can you email more details to support@quirkos.com and we will look into this for you

You can export them in the CSV/XLXS export, they appear as an extra sheet. They are also at the bottom of the Report
