One can easily visit maldives resort on budget. I have been to maldives 3 times in resorts as i was working there and you can get 1.5 lac for couple for 3 nights including flights. Depends on season may to oct is off season. Hacks are try to book resorts near to airport within 20 km distance as speedboat charges will be less. If you book far with sea plane cost will be high. All resorts whether 3 star or 4 star or 5 star are lavish and almost same. Book 4 star resorts. Book all inclusive package only if both are drinkers otherwise it may be costly.
