An amazing vehicle from VOLVO, definitely a passengers' paradise, pleasure driving for the pilot as this is a smooth VOLVO machine. India will love it for sure.
Indeed, the bus looks great and wonderful. A giant leap from the current version. My personal preference is , I would like to see a bus with an inside that looks exactly like the vistadome car of the train from Bangalore to Mangalore.
No washroom, I'm surprised. Otherwise looks fabulous. Expecting Volvo to include hybrid technology in their engines or maybe launch a full electric bus
Washroom::if the operators want a washroom, the company will include it. But we were told (which I endorse completely), we Indians will mess up a toilet badly and hence operators prefer a bus without loo. As for hybrid or pure EV, it's far too expensive. No one will buy it in the pvt sector. Govt can afford to buy EVs as part of their fleet bcos it's not their money, it's the poor tax payer money!
@@roymastana fair enough but we do have an olectra ev bus running between Mumbai and Pune now. Fares too are lower than conventional buses. Govt needs to promote this by giving incentives and setting up charging infra. Anyways BEST has the largest ev bus fleet now in India and about to introduce double decker EVs this month
Volvo doesn't give any importance to drivers cabin, just only 2 seats for driver and co driver. This is a long route bus should have a sleeping bed or rest space for them. I didn't expect this from volvo.
Great Update. I would recommend a double toilet at the end. Volvo Diesel can be loud and Noisy on the road (ear plugs and eye shades complementary please with the ticket prices). Indian roads are narrow and the driver has to sometimes do hard braking causing a lot of discomfort. You have to endure a lot of body roll on the overnight journey. I enjoyed my trip one one of these sleeper busses but the journeys I took were challenging AND the AC was super cold.
The cabins are sound proof, very minimal voice comes inside. Also when you are outside the bus and it is on, you won't come to know as Engine js preety silent.
🔴😄MAIN DRAWBACK IS NO LED TV IN EACH SLEEPER CELL AND LAGUGE COMPARTMENT IS OUTDATED & NO FREE WI-FI SERVICE WITHIN THE BUS & ALARM BELL FOR EACH INDUAIAL TO GET DOWN AT HIS DISTINATION🔴
Why isn't a laptop charging socket in this bus?? Was very disappointed when i booked my journey from Bangalore to Mumbai thinking to finish my office work in the bus. Turned out it doesn't have laptop charging spot and that f-ed me up!
Aunty lying & posing for the photo, Height will be in between 5.2 to 5.7 feet, I am 6.2 Feet end of the day there is no luxury if I can’t stretch my legs! Case closed! Difference between abroad and India, they build the buses & trains for min 6 feet!
😠3rd Class Buses only looks Beautiful from Outside but no comfort inside specially sleeper passenger on Rear wheels & close to Engine listen every time Gear changing noises of Automatic transmission. Air suspension cause passenger to start feel vomiting .. Dancing Bus too much also due to Bad road condition + speedbreakers + Careless Bus drivers + Air suspension feel Nausea. and if I Indian local drivers keep A/c 25° 27° where passenger require 20° 22° for comfort. You can't sleep in sleeper Coach Every time Dancing same like TATA Buses . I Think Ashok Leyland's buses are Stable compare to these two Volvo & Tata (Specially Leyland's Hino Engine was most stable but didn't found now a days)

KSRTC is the first customer..can’t wait to travel in this beauty
Ksrtc is testing this bus and will launch with a new name not airavat
Which ksrtc? Kerala or Karnataka?
@@shameelck7277 i mentioned already Airavat it means Karnataka srtc
@@aakashkotian2103 mostly as Ambaari

Not so loud when compared with leyland, eicher, Bharat Benz or Scania. Ofcourse B7R and B9R are bit louder, but B11R is so silent

the huge front windscreen should be armoured glass considering Indian road conditions . . . prefer the seater variant with lie flat seats . . .
KSRTC probably the first transport company to buy this i guess
For sure the first state run organization to get it
Delhi to Manali started 1 week ago.
Delivered from Bangalore itself.
The Engine is the disappintment, should have got th b11r engine
The 8 litre engine is remarkably efficient and powerful compared to 11 litre engine. That's our understanding!!
No washroom why, but it's excellent to travel like a flight
I saw this bus in hosur itz look awesome 💕💕😍😍😍
very nice VOLVO, keep it up.
Kolkata to Chennai Silper bus AC is there any service?

With electric bus coming at the same price, Volvo has a tough competition.
Which one?
is there any bus company who has this bus from Mumbai to kota
All good but a typical night jtravel needs protection of falling of bed....there is no full legth protection
“Features include lights on side with indicators“ 🤦🏻♂️
Just curious, how many buses in India boast of this feature? It may not sound like a mighty feature, but I personally feel it's great!
What can be the kmpl
Might be 3 to 4
Milage sir

Its actually cheap compared to an S class, you get a LOT of vehicle in the same money
Washroom is needed absolutely for long travel
Hi Motown India

Aeroplane!!!!
This much costly bus and no toilets in the bus, amazing
Eicher is not part of volvo
Eicher manufactures and services Volvo buses and trucks in India.
They should have washroom in bus
