Food was delicious but it was so crowded I could hardly sit down. Weird old woman kept trying to come in! Lots of odd triple thumping noises coming from the walls and ceiling; were they killing roaches or something? Pretty sure I saw Nellie point at a stranger about to get a shave upstairs and call him “fresh supplies” after she ran out of pies; not sure what that was about. Odd smell from the bake house reminded me of my granny’s cremation. Upstairs barber vacantly stared at me with murderous intent while I waited for a seat. All in all food was good but consider having it to go. ⭐️⭐️

Also I don’t like how the exploited their mentally disabled waiter! It made me leave and ask for my money back! Also I know allot of people have already commented about this but the smell from the bake house was awful! ⭐️⭐️

Hope he doesn’t do the same to Nellie; she seems nice though a bit preoccupied at times. Food was great but service was slow at times. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mrs. Lovett beats Mrs. Mooney hands down! Mooney’s place was way too catty; I found Lovett’s food warmer and more personable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would love for Barney to tell the story of apprentivimg for a serial killer in his youth and Ted to tell him that he got that story from Sweeney Todd
One of the things that I don't like the Musical of Sweeney is that they never picked a little kid actor to play Toby! Instead they picked a Grown Up one!
But that’s NOT how the character is meant to be played. It’s meant to be a grown man, it loses the original meaning off the character if you make him a child.
This scene would be fun in a round theatre with tables everywhere and Mrs. Lovett bouncing around the whole stage
What about a dinner theatre where they come out into the audience
I've been to a theatre with round tables and Lovett was giving out literal pies, while other actors signifying you need to eat them :)
Pre pandemic they did Off-broadway set in a bakery....
