- Bobby Deerfield, a famous American race car driver on the European circuit, falls in love with the enigmatic Lillian Morelli, who is terminally ill.
The only problem about Al Pacino movies is that..
there's not enough of them.
True, especially Al in his young days. Not so much movies 😭.
I wish Al would've made more movies in the 70s which was his prime.
I really liked the Irishman and Danny Collins
@@babygirl6789 the 80s we didn’t see enough of Al in the 80s.
@@JohnBrown-kf7mb lol Al wasn't in his prime in the 80s tho 🤣
this film is the last time Pacino still had the "young Michael Corleone look"
@@ed.m9805 And his voice changed.
@@ed.m9805 Yeah, you can tell he was borderline here. Almost Tony, still sorta Michael.
He was so sexy in this movie.
His hair was so gorgeous and him wearing the dark shades and suits made me feel sum type of way.
And justice for all is the first movie to show "new look" Al Pacino
Nah it’s his hair and don’t forget he would gain weight for a role too.
LOL, i found myself sighing over how fine Pacino is here, lmao.
riaa. You’re not alone lol
same...ugh
An underrated and extremely sensitive Al Pacino movie because it requires loads of patience to understand it. The
beautiful background score also adds to the charm of this movie
suneet cherieth has a similar plot like Sweet November but I liked this one much more
I sure didn't have the patience. I just saw a weird woman say weird things and Pacino being bewildered at it. Sure I could see that they were trying to do this "he learns from this free spirit that he should loosen up and also dying is sad" thing but it didn't work for me at all. It did have nice views of european countryside though.
Beautiful scenery as well.
And Al Pacino looked sexy throughout the movie.
@babygirl99 yes the scenery and Al Pacino both are sexy
How the FUCK did I not know this movie existed? Al Pacino acts in all the awesome old movies..
One of his best, totally underrated
This movie is actually very very good and passionate.
A great movie with great actors!
HGGGNNNNNN I just finished watching this movie and WOW am I glad I did! Pacino at his maximum hotness!
The booming and popular "beautiful woman dying" genre finally produced a good movie.
Al pacino at 29 so damn fine
Shaakira West year ~ he looks sooo "Latino"😈
Well, he's Italian ;) And 37 here, still.... looking great
Actually he's born in 1940 ..
Shaakira West he was 33 when he made The Godfather, I guess he aged in revers!!
delon a he was 31
Happy birthday, Al Pacino!!!! 🥳🎉
I'm happy Pacino Didn't play Han Solo.
a very, very good movie!
Gene Shue of Chicago Post proclaims.."i found this film resistible!"
I like this movie, so much
I want to see this!
Luiz Carlos Pace, Brazilian F1 Racing Driver and Pacino's Stuntsman
José Carlos Pace
@@mecano572 José, indeed.
My mistake
what is the name of the song?please help me
1:31 I knew THAT was comin!
I've been told Pacino is "shew" or "shoo" or "shoe" or "shue" or "sheau" in Bobby Deerfield.
That makes sense with lot of good meanings.....
Um tanto... canastrão hehehehehe
Marthe Keller made a slew of big budget, big star movies in a short period in the 1970’s - Marathon Man and Black Sunday - all different roles. Pity her career seemed to stall although she kept working.
Risk my aaaaaaaa
@Shaakira West 3 years late to your comment. But ugh, tell me about it LOL!!
Why are older movies so much cooler than movies today? They used to make cool movies... Drugs, crime, guns, fast cars, hot women, mafia, F1 racing, strip clubs, prostitution, Miami cocaine, etc. now all we get today is overly domesticated crap.
Are u american...? U must be lol
this trailer is terrible. I kept laughing at the guy talking. But the film is good..lol
I think it's Charlie Laughton, his mentor...
prob a good movie but a bad trailer... kind of sleepy
I dont know, BOBBY DEERFIELD is not a good movie because its not passionate enough. No offense to the main actor. I´m sure Al Pacino is a talented actor and hes still good looking years later but Jesus, he´s ridiculous here.
He redeemed himself, i think, later on in SCARFACE.
Bobby Deerfield may not have been a movie for American audiences. It was slow and thoughtful and romantic in a very delicate way. Remember, this way in the days of Jaws, Saturday Night Fever, Looking for Mr. Goodbar. The beginnig of films for the MTV generation.
Booooooring. Odd woman says odd thing - Pacino reacts with confused silence. That's the movie, and then she dies. The end.
well thanks for the spoiler, now I really wanna watch this movie, well done! How stupid to tell the end
I just don't know how him being a race car driver and him wanting to figure out the death of his driver friend has any significance to the plot.
Marthe Keller is a marvelous actress. She should have had a more successful film career in America. But she has done well in EUrope, acting and directing theatre and opera.
This one should been called Dog day! Utterly boring and the beginning of Pacino’s career’s down turn.
delon a downturn?? He had some good if not great ones after this...
Notably:
...And Justice For All
Scarface
Sea of Love
Glengarry Glen Ross
Scent of a Woman
Carlito’s Way
Heat
Donnie Brasco

@@finalmasquerade Obscene if you to omit Cruising.
