The only problem about Al Pacino movies is that..
    there's not enough of them.

An underrated and extremely sensitive Al Pacino movie because it requires loads of patience to understand it. The
beautiful background score also adds to the charm of this movie

I sure didn't have the patience. I just saw a weird woman say weird things and Pacino being bewildered at it. Sure I could see that they were trying to do this "he learns from this free spirit that he should loosen up and also dying is sad" thing but it didn't work for me at all. It did have nice views of european countryside though.

Marthe Keller made a slew of big budget, big star movies in a short period in the 1970’s - Marathon Man and Black Sunday - all different roles. Pity her career seemed to stall although she kept working.

Why are older movies so much cooler than movies today? They used to make cool movies... Drugs, crime, guns, fast cars, hot women, mafia, F1 racing, strip clubs, prostitution, Miami cocaine, etc. now all we get today is overly domesticated crap.

I dont know, BOBBY DEERFIELD is not a good movie because its not passionate enough. No offense to the main actor. I´m sure Al Pacino is a talented actor and hes still good looking years later but Jesus, he´s ridiculous here.
He redeemed himself, i think, later on in SCARFACE.

Bobby Deerfield may not have been a movie for American audiences. It was slow and thoughtful and romantic in a very delicate way. Remember, this way in the days of Jaws, Saturday Night Fever, Looking for Mr. Goodbar. The beginnig of films for the MTV generation.
