This was such a HUGE help - I love painting red rocks but struggle with mark making for the rocks. One thing I noticed that I was taught is a no-no in painting -- he used the same color grayed-down lavender for the tracks as he used way back by the horizon to push the horizon line back. It works really well for him! Love his style.
