Ben’s sense of humour is what sets him apart for me. Superbly high bar that I feel is almost too high to reach now.
To answer your other question, I’m definitely guilty of not talking about other’s work enough… probably because I overthink things and don’t want to become a “react content creator”. Not sure if that makes sense, but I think that’s a really good challenge I’ll take up, thanks Haley!!

All hail Ben! I remember seeing a submission he did for the nodefest ident a few years ago and thought it was so unique. Then to integrate this similar style into his tutorials really set him apart. To have someone in the motion design community potentially hit 1 million subs soon is inspiring and great for the industry.

Ben has since gotten rid of his intro. He said that it (5 seconds) was way too long and presumably lowered watchtime on his videos
I think his secret is that he's very funny! Yes he is my favourite designer in terms of look and feel but I don't think he'd have gotten as huge as he has without that trademark humour he brings to his videos. I bet there's loads of people who subscribe and watch his vids without any intention of opening up after effects!
