I cant believe that I just found this. What a memory. From the bus trip down to Hampton with what seemed to be a million pieces of chicken, to breaking both sticks before leaving the field, to stomping eery other band and getting shit on by the judges... damn... Percussion Zoo and City Forever! haha

And plus no originality that entire show where is southern jukebox down to a T. Y'all came down to Virginia thinking being loud was going to get you a win sorry we grow musicians around these parts
We lost because Morgan States coach was one of the judges. One who did not like us for whatever reason. (Probably because a HS band was better than his College band). And just so happened to be the only one who gave us anything but a superior score. You can’t possibly criticize any audio from this horrible quality video and I doubt you remember specifics from that night. Intonation and phrasing?! Haha. Ok bud. And Yes it’s a Southern based routine, but none of the other bands had what we did. They were lackluster. We got screwed. Congrats on the win.
This was my first year on the marching band and I remember doing this show and just having a ball!!! City 4 ever!!!
I was there, live and in full effect. This was one of the greatest years of my life.

Haha they mimicked some of this during the 2016 city vs poly game thats cool...they still not as good as they used to be like in this video
