- Jetpac and Lunar Jetman were two fantastic games written by the great people at Ultimate Play The Game. What a software house they were! Jetpac for me is one of the greatest games ever made. Only 16k too! Amazing. It is so playable even now. The follow up Lunar Jetpac was great too but was tough! The colours, sounds and graphics in both games were fantastic for the time. Both were released in 1983. Seems a long time ago now! RK.
Wahey!! Nice one!! Ultimate- ultimate😊
Off to my local market for a £1.99 mastertronic game & later codemasters.
Pocket money saved & well spent.
Extra saving or birthday for those games published by Ocean, good times.
@@capristuntman Mastertronic and Codemasters made some really decent budget titles. They were such good times.
Quick shot ....quick clean...quick fix ! 😊
Pacifist Achievement unlocked!
@@hawkeyepearce1066 Haha!
Absolutely magical even now. Much more playable than Jungle Fever which made you want to actually kill
Lol. You've jogged a memory with Jungle Fever!
@@RetroKevo429 Yes, I had been attempting to play it shortly before commenting on here. It is infuriating!
Hi Kevo. I was reminisimg the other day about other computers, and my mate had a Ti -99/4a and had a game called Parsec, that had a synthesized voice. I also remember "Nodes of yehod" on the speccy, it was alot like underwurde. It also had great music and speech at the start. I wasnt sure if that was achieved through a speech unit. Also any other games with speech from back then to discuss? Maybe a good topic for a vid?. Anyway keep up the great work and content.
vid?
Thanks Keith. I didn't have Nodes of Yesod and don't know a lot about it but on doing a bit of research it sounds really interesting so I'll source it and play when I get some time. It even as an ode to 2001 A Space Odyssey with the use of a monolith! Sounds intriguing! As for speech it was amazing hearing speech on the Speccy! Even sort of creepy at the time! Haha!
@@RetroKevo429 hi Kevin, yes that's right, I forgot about the monolith ! And yes there was something a little creepy, hearing a ethereal voice emanating from my speccy ! Good stuff, and I hope your quickshot 2 is working better mate, 👍
@@KeithDux I sorted it! A quick clean inside and it's all good! 🙂
