And on the next where we see her looking at Ekko wasn't like she is getting some feelings for him. It was more like you are not my Ekko. Messed up thing is... Because Vi died in this timeline, Jayce stops willingly or is taken into custody for experimentation over the Arcane and its consequences. Either way he is expelled from the academy and Viktor isn't around to continue that line of research... And without him Jayce offs himself whether it was for guilt over that dead kid or being denied his life's work. Again, the duo with golden retriever energy made the world a better place if they just aren't mixed in anything.

Shimmer doesn't have open resources to subjects, Zaun is spared from a dependency epidemic, Zaun has unified and balanced leadership, and the icing on the cake is having a future-knowing Heimerdinger on the Piltover Council who now is properly equipped to help Zaun prosper alongside Piltover. What Vi's death does is keep Powder from experimenting with Hextech and forces her to be the pillar of support that Milo and Clagor need

Small cool detail: Powder is wearing the same necklace that smol Vi was wearing in the bridge in the very first scene of the show, and you can see Vander using that same necklace as a bracelet in the flashback of S2 E5.
I read that very last scene with Jinx a little differently, we see she has a drawer with Vi's name on it, inside are the hextech gemstones, something that reminds her of her sister as it's the thing they got from the job that killed her, and then we see her put the necklace Ekko gave her inside the drawer, I think this is showing us she finally figured out what was going on and that that version of Ekko was dead so she placed a memento of his inside the drawer as well.
I think that they showed it because Powder realized that Vi alive in different world. So she bring that stones and Ekko's formulas to Victor and Jayce, they created Hextek to do the same as Ekko did, but Victor finished his glorious evolution and destroy that world. And then our Jayce wake up in the same world as Ekko but in the future, where only Victor left. Himerdinger wake up in the past, he represent the past, Ekko represent the present, and Jayce represent the future. So, Ekko destroy that world to save his own. That's the prise of traveling into multiverse in Arcane, it's not like in Marvel.

Heimerdinger also, still a councilman in this universe, decided to do what he failed to do before and actually made a direct effort to bring resources and youth innovator programs to the undercity over the past 3 years.

😢 This episode confirmed to me what I always thought, that the real villain in season one was Haimerdinger! Because when he arrived in this alternative reality he was still head of the counsel and only took him three years to resolve all the problems between the two cities.
