Here we go with the robotic pitching windup again. I don't get why it's so hard to make one of the most important aspects of the game more realistic. They just can't get it right
agreed, i still play mlb 2k13 on xbox 360 because it’s all i got and i can honestly that some of the windups and batting stances on that game look way better than on this mlb the show. they are so much cleaner and smooth and it’s kinda embarrassing mlb the show can’t improve on this
The pitch speed and pitcher animations are still off,.if they could fix that, game would be way more tolerable for me. I used to buy the game every year but anymore its basically a roster update and brushed up graphics and uniforms. At this point im not expecting any major changes until *hopefully* next gen,.
Announcer says: “Corey Kluber is the kind of pitcher that managers appreciate as he rarely issues the free pass. He’s a strike thrower.” After opening the game with 5 consecutive pitches out of the strike zone.
They need to have different temperaments for the players. Kluber would never spin and fist bump for a strikeout. He shows no emotion regardless what happens. That’s why he is called “Klubot”
@Gabe Bensinger ... Serious question, what pitching motion has MLB the Show actually gotten right because unfortunately I haven’t seen a single one done properly yet. One of my biggest pet peeve with The Show are their unrealistic pitching motions.

Plus you can keep your cards through the next year. If not these games are a scam for you to buy packs because your cards are useless after a year.

Globe life looks good. Feels like i am there. I have been to so many games there. At this point, i almost feel the old stadium needs to go. So much over in the area has built up. Would be worth having the parking. That won't happen since the stadium is in use for other events including the xfl
This is an amazing looking game. Obviously you can't replicate real baseball. It is such a beautiful game you just can't pack into a video game. But this game does a great job at looking as real as possible.

No thanks...will definitely wait until PS5 when these guys finally decide to put some effort into this game. It drives me absolutely nuts how slow pitches come in on the show. 93 mph fastball looks like a 70 mph change-up. Even RBI baseball has pitch speeds down. The show has gotten stale. Needs rebuilt and new commentary.

Disappointed that all the sound effects are the same, pre-game animations are the same, hell, 90% of the ingame animations are the same too. All of the additions to the game happen in diamond dynasty. Offline gamers continue to be kicked in the teeth.
Always is. Its a great option if you love Baseball, realistic sports games. On par with NBA 2k series, far better than Madden. Always worth owning this game. Hours and hours of fun.
God these pitching animations hurt my entire soul! Pro spirits baseball animations are amazing compared to this. Will not buy this game until the revamp these shitty animations. Plus a baseball hitting a glove doesnt sound anything like that

Oakland Native uhm.. so this year they actually added Jordan brand along with a few other equipment manufacturers. Customization is incredible this year. They added over 2500 new animations into the game since last year, they added new ball to bat sounds as well, so everything you just said is wrong. I literally have been playing this now and the game is absolutely different and fresh. When a game is so good, you can’t make drastic improvements every single year unless you want to actually go outside and play real baseball. This is another incredible year for them.
