    Hey great video, I was hoping to hear your thoughts about the 3080 vs 3090 in terms how much VRAM they have. Do you think the extra VRAM for the 3090 is worth the price increase? I am only editing in 1080P but I’ve been doing a lot of more work with 3D rendering in Davinci resolve. I currently have a 1070 which is good, but still playback can be slow and laggy at my heavily edited fusion clips with 3D renders. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

      VRAM to Recommend Resolution:
      2GB = 720p/900p
      4GB = 1080p (Full HD)
      6GB = 1440p
      8GB = 2160p (4K)
      NOTE: You can still game in 4K on a 4GB VRAM GPU (depending on how old the game is).

      @@LanceRazon mainly After Effects for video compositing. Though it had issues doing simple effects in DaVinci Resolve as well.. I think just that combined with the 8k usually RED footage was just too much when it came to exporting. Often times it would barely squeak by the VRam cap, or would take quite a while to render out at some terrible looking temps. At the time that I posted my comment I was searching for alternatives to a 3090 cause their prices were still terrible- but recently purchased one in April this year after they came down in price, which has helped a lot when rendering out the 8k footage. I would say under 8k footage is fine for the 2080Ti though.
