    Instead of left clicking the arrow to increase or decrease the menu value, RIGHT click the arrow, and the menu value will change by 10 instead of 1.

    I race in vr so I can’t get online, but I bought it to show support for the devs because I like thousands of others want this game to be a success and want the 2024 update to materialise. For £25 it’s an absolute steal for the amount of content you get.

      I've seen a few people racing it VR, there is a way to get it working. There are some videos out there on how to set it up.

    I got the game this past weekend and I use the surround sound with Nvidia and the game loaded just fine in triple screens without having to adjusting anything at all. I was very surprised. I’ll have to lower some settings since I was trying out some ultra settings, and experienced crashes. I appreciate that info in the video!

    It still needs lots of work, but the base is there. And the love they poured into this is also there. If you look in the lmp2 cockpits, the track map above the driver's head changes with every track. Tbh i've never seen that one before.

      There is no denying that. They did build a solid foundation and all they need now it to fix the bugs and start rolling out content they promised. I'm not a patient guy and want things now, but I do appreciate their calculated rollout and fixes. Stephen Hood has really turned this team around is is focusing on giving us a great racing experience.

    Excellent video. Intelligent observations, well-thought out in advance and presented objectively. Not just a youtube personality giving their first impression opinion, including all their careless driving. Well done. Includes all the key points as well; it's for a WEC lover, AI is weak, online will be it's strength and setups are better there. I still struggle with braking as I'd love it if the RF2 physics communicated the onset of loss of tire grip a little better, maybe just need sound detail. Then again, it might just be my Logitech G29 doesn't have the detail of DD wheelbases. Either way, looking forward to the Imola DC later this month and the 2024 GT3LM content as well. I'm driving the Porsches.

      Not sure, I think it depends on how far they are able to fix things in LMU.

    Complain all you want, but when the RF2 Endurance Pack DLC is currently selling for $45, is $33 really that bad of a value?
    Running it at 4K ULTRA with no stuttering. 12700K/4090, LG G2 55", CSL DD, V3 pedals, GT Omega Prime.
    I would like to see them make it TrackIr compatible.

      As both games struggle to work properly, yes! They are stealing our money... I spend more money on RF2 than any other game but it is not working, at least not always... every two to three month I try again... Sometimes everything is fine until it is broken somehow again - and I´m not a hobby codeveloper to do their job!
      So - it is a steal for me - i want my money back!
      This reskins mod LMU with reskinned ui will be the same desaster as it is with rf2 - no matter what the paid simfluenzers like Javier with their everlasting smile promote.
      At least AC is a game which is completed and the FFB also better. There is also no reason for trying my rf2 version in two to three months again. The whole team will work on this never ending story here. Maybe they will finish some liveries, hahaha!
      The developers are the worst in the world of sim racing - not a single sim ticks all the boxes. It´s like a cartel - you have to buy em all... Games like RBR, GTR2 even WRC7 were finished. Today Kartkraft left early access in a state which is actually like early access, AMS2 is a never ending story of a team learning the madness engines physics (with almost yearly "groundbreaking new FFB"). While the latest release of WRC23 is an other example how the industry disappoints the enthusiastic "customer" again and again and again - most of them do not even realize anymore, that there was a time and that this was possible. There are working softwares available on earth.
      Not the game development became more difficult, it is the employee and the manager who decide to annoy us with these shitty softwares with more bugs than stars in the sky... No! I do not see any improvement and that´s why I do not pay for a sim before it is discounted by at least 50% (ie. the "brand new" WRC23 was already on sale for 50% - but many people seem to like these slaps in their faces - and it is still not working properly as far as I know)
      tldr: IT IS STEALING MONEY AND TIME!!!! FROM ENTHUSIASTIC SIM RACERS!

      @@viunetwork5142that’s why i am on iRacing - they also steal your money, but at least it is working for years without any problems and I can do online races whenever I want to - no need to live with bugs here - anything is fine.

    At the very start of the video you equated the EA release of LMU to that of ACC - this is extremely disingenuous of you as with ACC you got 1 car and one track, plus bugs. With LMU you actually get the full WEC 2023 line up, cars and tracks, plus bugs.
    Everything else in this video is more or less valid, but please don't compare it to the ACC EA release as there is no comparison, other than the ACC EA release was a total and utter shitshow.

    • @TheSimpit
      @TheSimpit  8 месяцев назад +2

      I didn't mean for it to come off that way, LMU EA is miles ahead of how ACC EA was. That comment was more about some of the negativity I saw surrounding LMU EA release which I don't think was justified at all. Huge credit to all the guys that worked on this title and getting it out for people to enjoy. If that was the way you took, I do apologize. I didn't mean for it to come off that way.

    The answer is BUY IT.
    IF..... You have a powerful computer!
    If you have less than a 3080
    It will look like crap.
    If you have a good GPU/CPU. It's the best looking Simracing game on the market
    And the best Tyre/Physics/FFB on the market
    Hands down

    • @heikoscheuermann
      @heikoscheuermann 8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, that can be annoying, especially if it is only 1 out of 4, 5 or 6 sims. I really dislike that topic because often enough a dev says that game XY will have triple screen support and then the only thing you get is plenty of resolutions being available.
      For those that didn't know, being able to deliver the big resolutions that some tiple screen setups demand has nothing to do with true triple screen support itself, it is just basic crap. True triple screen support does have the possibility to set the angle of your sidemonitors which does distort the picture on the screen in a way that it fits to the angle of your side monitors and to the position from which you are looking at them. The developers know that most of us know that proper triple screen support looks like i just described, so why are they doing this again and again and again

    No matter how hard i looked i couldn't find the "sweaty option" to disable unfortunately i've found it's drawn all the guys/gals that are there not to have fun but race like their life depends on it. Obviously the game has set out to target those audiences as there isn't to many people that wants this hardcore racing, but even still i feel it could have done "casual" better for the slow a**e drivers like me and many others haha. I know stat packers are even on iRacing so had hoped LMU not follow suit and differentiate them better
