- This is the red dot rifle I use most often these days. It also happens to be my night time gun. This is an overview of what I’ve done with it by way of accessorizing it and why.

Great video, great setup. Agree that putting a comp on a fighting rifle is not a good choice. If you can't control a 5.56, you need training, not a compensator.

You liking that magnafier? I have a exps3 on my 13.9 from sons. Thinking a magnifier might be nice for duty. No real experience with them though. I tried an lpvo and I just was notttt comfortable with it. None the less awesome rifle good video!

They're extremely overrated. Watch Gunthots review of them. I have a friend that owns one and it is no better than any other mid tier ar like a bcm or even an aero. It's Hypebeast shit.
@@beardly0121 Mhhmm. First, I have to care what Gunthots thinks. (Hint, I don’t) Second, I’ve used parts from all the mentioned companies, and sorry, the Hodge parts were better all round, especially better than Aero. Idk why people get so wrapped around the axle about it, trying to tear down a company that makes quality products to what, somehow make themselves feel better about themselves? Idk, doesn’t make much sense.
I find it hilarious that a group of 3 random dudes created a channel named Gunthots, talk trash about well established companies like BCM and Hodge and people think these guns are bad. Cmon now.

Yea. I ain’t a fan but I got nothin against em. See some dudes send the bolt home early with em because they’re timing is off. That’s about it. They’re fine.

@@hannibalbarca2939 I don’t understand the question. Is the 14.5 similar in velocity to the 12.5? Nah. Around 50-80fps higher.
I realize you were asking Mark. Here is what I've found with mine. Ammo standard Federal XM855 62 gr, Density Altitude 4414, Air Density 1.074 kg/m3, 2922 ft/sec unsuppressed and 2938 ft/sec with Sandman-K attached
