(14 Jun 2018) ADELE AND STORMZY ATTEND GRENFELL MEMORIAL
On Thursday (14 JUNE 2018), musicians Adele and Stormzy attended a ceremony marking the anniversary of a fire that killed 72 people in London residential high-rise Grenfell Tower in 2017.
The music stars joined bereaved family members and those affected by the tragedy at a memorial service in North Kensington which included tributes to the dead and a rendition of "Lean on Me," performed by a local choir.
The tragedy caused the greatest loss of life in a fire on British soil since World War II, and left the neighborhood and the country in shock.
