The whiney voice of the reporter is beyond annoying. Aaaaah....... Get that woman some speech lessons
Sounds like she was chased out of the airline industry.
She seems to struggle with her thoughts.
"ahhhhhh yeahhhhh so there are just so many people impacted by this.." ahhhh yeah.. the people who died and their families! How did she get a job?
I like her voice
How about some RUclips commenters that aren’t trash?
This reporter is terrible.

She should not cover live events.
Ok mr perfect…🤭

A..a...a... She needs to go for speech training annoying
DEI hiring.
It’s called shock
So, have people who are safely in their homes but crying because the bridge they see everyday is now collapsed is the illustration of the extent of this tragedy? And it took at least 30 "uhs" and "uhms" to say that? Perhaps she could have lead with the less important and boring information like: Was anyone hurt, what is being done to find the people who were thrown into the water? I know their suffering doesn't compare with that of the people whose view is ruined, but I think it may have been a better way to start the report. Couldn't listen to the rest. Are there actually any coherent Americans under the age of 30?
Unfortunately no, there aren’t any left.
Ahhhh, I don't think so
It's still rare to meet somebody not fully indoctrinated of any age in The USA.
Reporter Ah ah ah um it's very hard to listen
That "uuuuuuuuuuuu" is straight from "The Grudge" lol
Cars and people "flew". Great journalism.
That's a Airport Pilot as a News Reporter
Horrible reporting. She can’t even talk
She can squawk
My heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one.
That female reporter, needs to learn that ahhhhs are not part of communication
Can the reporter say "ummm" some more jeszzzz. People died here and she sounds so unprofessional
Oh Jesus!!! The exaggerated and drawn out “uhhhhh” is disgusting. Fire that anchor asap!!! Re hire her back when she figures herself out.
Was this reporter briefed before reporting what happened
Please please please get a new reporter……..
She really gotta stop using "uuugghh".. It sounds terrible
As someone who travels this bridge a few times a month for work, I'm having a hard time believing that in 47 years since this bridge was built not one ship in the past has came in contact with one of those concrete barriers
It's war and control tactics
you lack sufficient imagination. how often do ships crash into bridge piers to begin with? You think 47 years is the anomaly, not the ship crashing part, and that's where the flaw in your thinking lies. this doesn't happen as often as you think. its a bit of a fluke that the ship lost power at the worst possible time with unfavorable conditions (rising tide).
@@rmill344 It looked deliberate.

They need to get this woman off air, it hurts my ears to listen to her uhs aws eees. O god
If you remove all the Aaa fillers, the length if this video will be halved .
For how many years did the ships manage to miss that support pylon?
1977
47 years
47 years TO THE DAY. What are those odds?
The ship lost power and with that couldn’t steer.
Ahhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh ummmm ahhhhhh
What I uh, is just, um, you know, err, like I said, Urgh, there there there, so, just umm, back to you.
If that ship had no power then how was it able to knock the bridge down? That was just a light tap and a small push. That bridge went down as soon as the ship hit it, which means it had to have been under some sort of power and it had to have been aimed directly at the pilon a pretty good distance away
bridge made by DEI women, i'm sure.
This woman aaaa aaaa
The Asian reporter, no disrespect..Your reporter needs to work on her English. This was a historical tragic event and her constant stumbling, I really don't know what to say. A little disappointed!
Appreciate the coverage, just wish the reporters speech patters weren't soo painful. -- AHHH UMMM - prayers for all affected
Reporter talk with the cadence of Dez Bryant 😂
“A long road ahead”
The traffic is going to be terrible for a while
"AAAAAHHHHAAAA"
Traffic reporter is doing an amazing job.
Ar…..a new news reporter will be good whose conjunction is not ar….
I think she may be slowly turning into a pirate, perhaps someone should probably check on her to see if she's been buying eye patches, peg legs or a pet parrot!
Vessel is registered in Singapore and under lease by Maersk.
Worth noting:
1) speed is slow such as 5 knots. You will see this from spray from the bow of which there is none to little.
2) technical defect with relation to propulsion and steering and who is responsible for these.
3) Bridge exposure - Why is there no artificial island around the pylons for protection? Here the fragility of such a bridge should and must be considered…
4) Alarm as precaution. Siren, horn, light. Is there anything at all and does it work?
Uh is like the new like for this women. Instead of constantly saying "like" she replaced that with uhhhhh
AHHHHHHH! 😠😠😠😠😠😠
People comment about the reporter- so freaking rude- how about have empathy bc she’s from the area and she’s probably in shock. I think she did an excellent job considering the horrific circumstances. This is heartbreaking and it’s a lot of people’s absolute worst nightmare.
Google Maps needs an update for I-695.
DEI Hire on reporter? Horrible
Get another reporter. This is hard to listen to.
That reporter should be fired. She sounds F up bad all this uggg’ wtf Damn!!!
I don't think it was an accident. How could a bridge collapse that quickly unless it's foul play? The only other suggestion would be lack of infrastructure and the bridge wasn't maintained properly
What country is the ship from?
Singapore
What about the engineering aspects of this tragedy? How could a slow-moving freighter hitting 1 pylon bring down the whole bridge? Has it really deteriorated to such an extent? Or was it built wrong to begin with?
How are the rescue efforts going? How many people have died? How many are hospitalized? Any?
Both reporters voice are so annoying ahhh what!!
The ship was not named after Dolly Parton.....
Who and the heck is the reporter? She sounds horrible!!! Then the male reporter has the same issue!!!
I went right to the comments
What is Joey saying about this tragic accident ?
Wow! God bless.
RIP the 7 lost. x
Aaaahhhhggg. Geez! Please get her some lessons. Worst use of a filler word I’ve ever heard.
Could have lost power or steering, or an inability to cut power... don't jump to any conclusions. Ship appears to me, to be traveling at an excessive speed, but pure speculation. Controls mostly completely electronic these days. The lights going off/on could have been an emergency master re-boot in an attempt to regain the electronic helm control.
Omgness...the reporter's voice and ahhh is so annoying.
Respect for the work of that journalist please . Thanks.
No! I have been in the media since 1995 and have heard very few people worse than her. If you're going to do a live cross to a reporter on the ground then that person had better but able to at the very least communicate clearly. She literally had one job and failed miserably, zero respect is what is warranted and that's an objective fact!
Uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Prayers for any victims💕🙏💕
Luckily it's a Singaporean cargo ship, if it was a Chinese or Russian cargo ship,
then imagine what the western politicians and media would say
You are too desensitised and chronically online if that's the first thing you think of. People are hurt and potentially dead.
Singapore loves China
CNN just announced TRUMPS TO BLAME !!!
@@rjazco51 The adjudicated rapist and real estate fraud is innocent of this one.
Does this news woman know how to talk??
Vocal fry is tough to listen to.
How come there is no one asking why the ship didn't alert someone so the bridge could have been cleared. This didn't happen suddenly. It was evident they were heading toward the bridge.
What about the workers doing maintenance on the bridge?
I really hope when Im trying to think of something to say next I dont make that noise
Reporter needs to do more cardio... or maybe it's a "safe and effective" side effect. 🤔
Name of operator???
Ching Ping Pong - from Singapore
Really officer I’m sure my foot was on the brakes.
a multinational corporation, that couldn't exist here without NAFTA, TPP, and shipping all our jobs overseas, destroys a historic American landmark. And they say God doesn't have a sense of humor
Time to build a long Suspension Bridge, without the piers so far out in the channel. This Bridge was such a minimalist design, it was fragile. The piers were not designed to withstand such events.
Its Pat.
Ahhhmmm's Errrrrrr's and Uhhhhh's oh my! I think the reporter may be slowly turning into a pirate, perhaps someone should check on her to see if she's been buying eye patches, peg legs or a pet parrot, very strange!
Ahhhhhhh....so many people...ahhhhhh impacted by thisaaaahhhhh...ahhhhh tragedy ahhhh....in baltimoaaaaahh. I could never watch this news station. Send this woman to Toasmasters.
Did not learn from Sunshine Bridge Tragedy?
Am I first to say it? Ship's pilot was seriously impaired on substance(s). Same cause of Exxon Valdez running aground in Alaska in 1989.
Rubicon?
Fire her. I can't even finish watching this or take it seriously.
Ahhhhhhh, ahhhhhh, ahhhhhhhh
I'd hate to be one of the people responsible for this tragedy. Living with that guilt won't be easy
how does a cargo ship get that close to the bridge for this to even happen
Engine failure maybe or just crews having problems
Was this negligence or deliberate? Most cities have harbor pilots that know the waters to avoid disasters like this.Police have to find out who was steering and make changes all over the country.
Concrete barrier for a direct hit, someone turned that ship👍
I think it was intentional. I'm hearing now that this will cause 'supply chain disruption', and therefore give companies expecting this shipment a reason to jack up prices further. Just like all the oil company 'accident's that cause the price of gas due to supply chain disruption.
Yuk. To the “news” reporters , studio and on site…..

Very sad by the grace of god this didnt happen around 7am .
The lady reporter needs to be fired. The constant, "uuuuhhhh, uhhhhhh"
Was she a pilot in a past life?
Seems like the only thing she left out is: 'that's all folks'
How that Ship didn't see that Bridge
If you watch the video the cargo ship was heading towards the bridge straight on. 😮
Lost power = no propulsion and no control.
speed zero knots??????
Impossible. That's why we use decimal points......try 0.5 knots for instance. That was a stupid thing for the reporter to say.
