this shit hits so real. its straight from the heart and life experience. pray for all my people going through the system right now that have no one in their corner holding them down. cause more times than not, the very day you get booked, all your people drop out of touch, loved ones dont write or call. your girl starts acting shady and she’s out running around with Jody. its a lot. and really will show you who loves you and who is a true “ride or die” and who is just around you for opportunity and to benefit themselves.
i got a homie doing 37 years right now and still facing another 10.
no violent charges at all. only multiple large drug charges, paired with multiple possession of firearm by felon charges, and also had priors for a robbery and did 3-5 years before. but never any charges with weapons in use or any violence of any kind. also no reported overdoses or deaths linked to his product. 47 years possibly at the age of 32 with 4 children. man its fucked up. cant help but feel terrible for my homies kids and all the family.
another good friend of mine got picked up this past year and is doing 27 years at age 31. his life is practically over. or at the very least its going to feel like its paused for over 2 decades.. with no way to really live for something and work towards something you want to build in life..
also my OG has been alleged of drug trafficking. not gonna say what but ill just say, “the big three” and possession of tons of firearms and possession of stolen car. has been to prison before, facing a lot of time. All of these charges all alleged and this man is innocent until proven guilty. i just want to make that clear and state that i believe its a bunch of B.S. but thats another topic for another day.
i just ask for your prayers if you read this and you know how terrible it is to be serving or facing a huge, life changing prison sentence. no matter if you are ignorant and think they are exactly where they deserve to be and that prisoners are treated fairly and that the rehabilitation process works, then more power to you. we can discuss that another time. but at least pray for these men and their families that they can find peace and change their lives for the better and find some way to cope. you can at least do that if you disagree with praying for their freedom. thanks.
