I just started guiding fly fishing and have not had a great experience. When you start off in a new place and as girl it was hard to get any respect. After a year I have learned so much about the area and caught some beautiful brookies and land locked salmon in Maine. I have some fly fishing mentors who have kept me going even through some rough clients. This video has really inspired me to keep going, keep doing what I love, and never let my gender get in the way of any of that. I am ready to be the odd man out in my community!

This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm an old man from the PNW and just seeing the commercialization of fly fishing is obscene. You should all be embarrassed. I cannot explain it here, but you know when you know.
I'm tired of going fishing with guys. This girl knows her stuff about fishing. That, I find to be very attractive. I wish I could find a woman like her.

There are a lot of women who are badass...like all of them. They must endure the pains of childbirth, pretty badass to me. If the individual in this video was a man and not a woman, would there be a reason for a video at all? I don't recall seeing any impressive accomplishments on her behalf. A woman doing something men usually do should be considered normal. That's how we solve this whole gender gap thing. Don't exacerbate this issue by turning discrimination in the opposite direction.
