I am one of those people. Snowboarded and played in hills my whole life(37) and archery hunting for 5. Killed 4 whitetail and hopefully my first elk this late season. Awesome vid
I've never had an upbringing in hunting, I've always fished. I've always wanted to hunt, don't even know where to begin. This is a beautiful film and I think your comment is spot on.
Such a sick video. Need more hunting videos that are done this well. Eric is such an inspiration from hunting to fishing to music to snowboarding. Thank you Sitka for creating this masterpiece.
RIVER... this means a lot to me. I don't get to get out there nearly enough, and woods and rivers, are my home, and only places I feel comfortable. Thank you. People don't understand the connection with, and the power of a river, and Outdoors in in general.
Great film! I am so impressed with how well the spiritual journey is expressed - not least the way he thanked the animal. The way he talks about how mistakes and failures are necessary and opportunities to learn and get better. My favorite hunting movie yet!
I hunted all my younger years. I love the thought of the hunt and not over doing. Great video and will if watched teach folks about the spirit of the outdoors.🇺🇸🐻
Absolutely wonderful video. I’m 42 years old and have two sons 12 & 13. I just sent this video to them and asked them to watch it, because what you showed in it is my wish for them one day. Please keep up with these videos.
Great Story Telling. We moved out west three years ago and chasing elk is spiritual for us. First two years I learned by screwing it up w my bow but wife and daughter took 6x5 and 5x5 w gun, dropped in tracks. This year I finally shot a nice bull w my bow, only to bump him into terrain we could not enter wo ropes. Then our son drops a trophy six in his tracks, only to have the herd walk over and wake him up after 12 minutes upside down and he runs off w zero blood trail. This season we worked so hard and had success ripped from our fingers, but we learn from those failures and grow stronger for next season. Welcome to your new passion, it will consume you.
Amazingly well done. Whoever filmed and edited this made me feel like I was there in person. Love how you tell how passionate Eric is about the outdoors. Seems like a real genuine, good dude.
This is the best hunting vid I’ve ever seen, I am stoked on how much respect these guys have for the sacred bull elk. And I thought I was going to be a snowboard movie, lol.
I’ve been a huge fan of Eric’s snowboarding and fly fishing for years. Always knew he was an avid outdoorsman. Glad to see this class act is teamed up with my favorite camo brand. Great film!!!
Love videos like this! I’m a die hard bowhunter and snowboarder who grew up watching guys like Eric Jackson kill it on snow and now to see how that love for the outdoors translated to bowhunting is so sick! Maybe someday I’ll see you in the snowy backcountry or in the mountains chasing elk. 🤘🏹
I fricken loved this film! What a great film sitka. Such a humble bloke undertaking another difficult pursuit in life 🤙 much respect brother I will be looking forward to see your next great archery hunt 🏹
Great hunt, y'all. That's a great first elk and hard-earned. Also cool to see someone else giving their arrows good names and taking a little bit of the memory with you on a hunt. Excellent film all the way around. Thank you.
The production level of this is insane! I thoroughly enjoyed every second. Well done to the entire team capturing the story and emotion that so many of us experience out there but can never truly seem to put it into words. Great job.
Well done fellas and congrats to Eric. Highly enjoyable video. Eric you're damn right "this is good for you", in more ways than one, nothing is better. Can relate to Eric in many ways. I grew up snowboarding, fishing, and hunting in and around the beautiful mountains of Leadville Co. I still do all these things, only in the beautiful mountains of Far-Far-Nor-Cal now. Of course I still make my annual trips back to Colorado for deer and elk season. Again, well done guys. PS. Sorry Eric, your brother is still my favorite snowboarder 😎✌️
Such an epic video. Hunters are the greatest advocate for conservation; taking only what we need. It's unfortunate we're not depicted that way. The struggle is a beautful thing, it makes us each better for it!!!
This video is exceptional as it shows every aspect of hunter preparation and pursuit. Nerve racking felt like I was there for the final stalk and bull elk down bro!! 👋🏻
Really fantastic watch. Transitions in life are remarkable and exceptionally rewarding, if allowed to be. Finding passion and understanding in one's self are gifts each person should receive. Great work!! Great story!!
Live your life to the fullest!!!! You only got this one life ticket to live!!! Do all that you want to fulfill your life story. Regardless of what people think!!!
This was an amazing video, y'all did an awesome job and this guy in the video is awesome and I'd watch any video with him hunting in it. I deal with depression and been wanting to hit the woods like this and just lose myself in the woods and all it beauty. Thank you guys for this video.
Hang in there brother. I’ve dealt with depression and horrible anxiety for 42 years. Get out in the woods, exercise and eat real meat and fat. Cutting out sugar and carbs has make a huge change in my life. The last year has been a major turn around. Keep truckin and never give up. The struggle makes you stronger even when everything in your body is telling you otherwise. Nature is medicine. Get out and enjoy it.
To not only draw a tag the first time putting in on it and then filling that tag with a bull the fist year is a feat most will never accomplish. A lot of hard work goes into Bowhunting. There are a lot of failures and alot of lost arrows. Lol. Great video. Watching the snow boarding reminded me of when I lived in western Colorado and we would sled up into the grand mesa to do some snow boarding. I miss it so much. I’m not sure why I moved to Ohio but one day I will be moving back to Colorado.
Love the video. if we could all learn to live backwards, the earth would be thankful for the hunters not the opposite. Thank you for sharing your journey! hopefully our paths meet in the woods one day
This video was so well done. Holy moly. As an editor myself, I really appreciate the time and effort it took to make this video absolutely perfect, which is what it is: absolutely perfect.
Love it! My "river" spot is on the Guadalupe sitting in my kayak listening to the water trickle, a squirrel or two scurrying around and a distant gobble.
This is sooooo well done, cannot say it enough. Also in respects to size we don't eat the antlers, its about the experience and the resourcefulness of the animal!!
Holly elk cow. E jack is in a hunting film. Nice bull bro. Love all his parts in the standard videos. He was sick in Fourth phase and Resonance as well. I believe I spotted a mark Carter cameo in this film. Hell yeah
I wish more people who never had an upbringing in hunting would watch this film. This is beautiful. What an exceptional film!
I am one of those people. Snowboarded and played in hills my whole life(37) and archery hunting for 5. Killed 4 whitetail and hopefully my first elk this late season. Awesome vid
Wish granted ✨️ it look awesome.

@@meekymango I can promise you that some of the best memories and experiences you will ever have are made while hunting. Good luck, be safe.
Agreed.
Such a sick video. Need more hunting videos that are done this well. Eric is such an inspiration from hunting to fishing to music to snowboarding. Thank you Sitka for creating this masterpiece.
If you call good things sick, then please just stay in the city. Nobody needs your city gibberish.
RIVER... this means a lot to me. I don't get to get out there nearly enough, and woods and rivers, are my home, and only places I feel comfortable. Thank you. People don't understand the connection with, and the power of a river, and Outdoors in in general.
Awesome video! This should make all of us outdoors men & woman go back to when the times were simple, and love what god gave us.
"Awww, buddy. Thank you!" What a special moment.
Not your typical hunting vid. Professional cinematography. Really well done.
Great film! I am so impressed with how well the spiritual journey is expressed - not least the way he thanked the animal. The way he talks about how mistakes and failures are necessary and opportunities to learn and get better. My favorite hunting movie yet!

Amazingly well done. Whoever filmed and edited this made me feel like I was there in person. Love how you tell how passionate Eric is about the outdoors. Seems like a real genuine, good dude.

Badass. Growing up snowboarding and getting into hunting later in life this really resonates. Keep it up!
The production level of this is insane! I thoroughly enjoyed every second. Well done to the entire team capturing the story and emotion that so many of us experience out there but can never truly seem to put it into words. Great job.

Great video well done, even heard some Joshua Ray Walker in there. Nice touch. "Canyon," very fitting song for this film. One of my favorites.
