That kinda reminds me of this old Roblox game called Incursion. Where a few people were aliens who could shapeshift, and any people they killed would become more shapeshifting aliens. Until they died, at which point they’d respawn as an alien who couldn’t shapeshift, oh and the regular people had guns so they weren’t defenceless
The infected can jumpscare someone and it will stun the player who got jumpscared with a timer above them and someone can use a medkit to shorten the time of them being stunned
Some ideas I have. Firstly: Give the General his own team separate from the Civilians. The Civilians would want to oust the Infected and leave safely as soon as possible but the General is a soldier and would be responsible for retrieving the research and preventing the spread of infection even if it meant killing the Civilians. He would be penalized for each survivor he kills (unless there aren’t any witnesses, voting doesn’t count) and for failing to retrieve the research, allowing him to lose even if he escapes. I would also give the General the ability to assign timed tasks to other players to accomplish his goals, that if failed will give the General a window to kill them for insubordination without penalty and if completed successfully will give the one who completes it a window of protection (except for infected) where the General will face a score penalty and task lockout for a brief period. Other ways to expand this would be giving the General a way to assign bounties to incentive players to act without threats (don’t know about the reward though), giving the General better aim and damage so the players have a reason not to want to take the gun, and a way for players to force the General to vote for someone. This would be to cultivate a sense of unwillingness in the Civilians where the General has goals that detour from the rest of the group and delay the escape, a willingness to sacrifice one or two of them, and the mechanical authority to enforce his agenda. Secondly: Optional tasks. There’s no reason to take out the trash when you’re planning on evacuating soon, so stat buffs would be a good idea. Without clutter all players would have an easier time navigating giving up to +10% movement speed(including the Infected, this is to reach tasks faster) and some tasks like sorting hospital notes would have less clutter. This would also include the research tasks which you’d be threatened to do by the General. Thirdly: Agendas. Something to make some of the survivors skip out on tasks or delay the clock instead of everyone having the exact same goal of get out fast. A greedy person might try to steal the research notes without mentioning anything to the General to sell afterwards, disappearing for a short while. A neat freak might get up to 15% movement speed, but lose out on the buff if they become gross participate in the cleaning. Other ideas for agendas are journalist (wants to get a scoop, General would want them silenced if they’re found out) and researcher (wants to recover the data, ally to the General and succeeds if they or the General have it in the end). It might be better to go further and turn roles into agendas and let everybody do everything while letting some do it better than others, though that would take considerable consideration before making such a drastic change. Fourth: Multiple endings for survivors. This is moreso to flesh out suggestion 3. If you’re the General failing to protect or collect research could see him loosing his job. The greedy person would have better options if they have the research on hand. Essentially if escaping is a neutral end then completing your goals will let you win harder than others, though I wouldn’t go more than 3 or 4 sentences. Fifth: Voice changers. Never seen them used in proximity chat. Not only swaping names but also voice would be interesting.
Oh, that's right! while waiting for a new video about this, I could also suggest making a screamer for the infected. I hope my ideas will help the game become popular.

i think a better idea would be the tasks work towards STARTING the end timer maybe like a military helicopter picks everyone up, only after all the tasks are completed, and like a flare is lit or something

There needs to be a way to win independent on the tasks completed since, you know, some people just won’t do them

When a player finishes all of their own assigned tasks, they are assigned other tasks that the other players have yet to complete, allowing them to do those tasks for those players. Especially helpful for that one guy who just doesn't give two shits about that task. Alternatively, the timer could start at a threshold of tasks completed, and completing additional tasks would simply speed it up.
So can you add a general exclusive item like an MRE. Hear me out, the general can use the MRE to people with low health so when the general uses the MRE on that person, they gain all their health back and it increases their max health also.
modifiers to add on to the chaos like for example you can - adjust the speed to be faster or slower this can be applied survivors/general or the infected or all - adjust the amount of HP for each class - adjust gun damage and firing speed or infected damage - and most importantly the amount of infected in the match if modifiers like this was in the game i feel like you could easily turn this into a horror game into a game of Comedy
Mad respect you Cyzeck. I started developing a game after watching one of your older videos and it is a ton of work. Even creating player movement took me almost an hour the first time. I have been working for months and am not even close to finishing. Keep up the great work and dedication.

Wait there should be Abilities for the original infected like 12 abilities or 9 but you can only equip 3. For example three of the abilities Quick teleport a quick dash that lets you travel a small or medium distance. The main ability that the infected have Transform. Swish which allows the infected to hide in plain sight but there is a disadvantage you can see bones and the floor is a bit messed up, and the last ability Stunner which allows the infected to stun people in a small radius. And there should a disadvantage for the infected like when they're in the infected form they become slower and there is a 30 second timer for them to transform back into something!
Game looks so niceee!!! in the future updates , you should add a mode where whenever the impostor kills a player that player becomes an imposter aswell thus more of an infection like gamemode •∆• !!
Add new powers for infected like he can make fake player models or fake weapons maybe he can spawn mini parasites that have don’t much XP and can infect survivors but you cant use mini parasites to much but if you parasite infect someone you will be not able to use him anymore
- You should make a decay system where after 30 seconds, the infected will slowly decay and become noticeable as an infected. - You should make a map where if people don't escape after the timer ended after 15 seconds, it shows a cutscene of a nuke going off - You should make it where there are skins for the infected that change gameplay

Bro, you could put an feature that make all player voices distorted, so the infected could pretend to be other person without needing to worry about talking with others, having only the players names to trust in. Just an idea. Because I thought that if someone finds the infected pretending to be other person, with the other person's name, and ask him something, the voice of the infected would be different from the voice of the non infected and would ruin the disguise of the infected. Example: There are three persons, A, B and C. C is the infected, and its pretending to be person A. Then person B gets to person C, wich is pretending to be A, and ask something, the voice of person C would be different than A's voice, and this would instantly become a problem to C. Again, its just an idea. And to make things clear, I loved the idea of your game.
