- In todays video I battle to remove this climbing hydrangea that was blocking access to some repairs that needed to be made. It put up a fight but I got it done and there is enough left to regrow in spring.
Thanks for watching and don’t forget to give the video a Like.
Cheers

I'm definitely enjoying the DeWalts👍 cheers
Satisfying Job there Nathan Thanks again
Was something a little different for sure. Cheers mate👍
You love it Nathan! The old hydrangea petiolaris
My favourite 😅
Well done 👍
Thanks 👍 cheers for watching
Good workout that mate💪🏼👌🏼
I loved it🤔😂😬👍
You sound like the Terminator with the pruners going .. 😮
😂 I'll be back...when it grows again 😂👍
Hasta la vista
Greetings. Well 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Hi and thanks for watching 👍👍
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
👍👍👍 thank you for taking the time to watch me battle the hugger 😅
What’s the little hand held cutter? That blinking stuff you’re lugging in the van would be going straight in a hedgerow somewhere if it were me 😂🙊
It's the DeWalt pruner, hedgerow slinging 😅😬
More patience than I with that. If you could get in to do so I would have been steel rope off tow hook of my van or by the winch & just ragged it off. I had a 4500lb winch fitted to my van to do that with privet, small tree stumps etc.
I promised the customer I wouldn't rip the felt off the roof or cause any more damage 😬 your way sounds more fun👍
You made that look hard LOL like trying to fight A tiger LOL
It was hanging on for sure😬 took more effort than I thought 😅👍
How many years do you think that was growing on the roof? Hard work but rewarding!
I'm not sure, a good 10 years or so I bet, it was so matted and stuck in places tho. Cheers for watching 👍
Getting a new mower before this season one that can cut in wet. What deck material is best to go for alloy, composite or steel. Also interested in the Kawasaki engine but not sure if it’s worth the investment. What do you think of weibang? Thanks
Look at the new sabo mowers that have just come out for 2025
They are John Deere mowers brought back and rebranded, I’m buying one for this season as they’ve got fantastic reviews as all rounder mowers
Was gonna get weibang but sabo looks betyer
I've used the Etesia for years and they have the polymer decks, just switched to grin which is steel but a lot say the Ali ones are best. Too much choice now😬 good luck. Kawasaki engine is great and never used a weibang but again heard good things about them
@ thank you I was a bit worried the polymer ones wouldn’t be that strong and crack easily
good old workout 💪did you feel it next day ?
Was a fun one...the next day I went Barcelona and walked 5000 miles taking in the sights so would have been easier staying in work😂
What your wallet😂
Hi Lewis, quick question. How important do you think it is to start a gardening company in the Spring or just before the cutting season begins? Or does it not matter all that much. Keep up the entertaining videos :))
Some say start anytime but it makes sense to me to start advertising early march to get going in spring. Unless you've got a customer base getting new work while it's quiet could be difficult, depends what work you push for, obviously lawns would be spring onwards. Good luck with it👍👍 cheers
A chain saw at intervilles
Pole saw was great on the stems 👍👍
Hourly rate or by job? New client? Any special clothing u prefer, rain gear or summer Wear? Ty
Job price, not new and I'm generally in comfortable gear that works👍👍
This is an example though of a job whereby it is right to charge accordingly.. just because it is fairly quick for “us” I.e pro gardeners, we have the knowledge, know how, expertise, requisite tools and the strength, you have to charge what a job is ‘worth’ rather than time taken.. I like to look at it like.. imagine how long and the rigmarole if customer did it themselves or their bloody teenage son to do it.. I’d be charging £250-£300 there about right?
Yea you're right mate although I was £85 plus vat for this, didn't take an hour and was on route to another job so filled the journey 👍 cheers
Tidy!
Wgat was climbing hydrangea? Youve done them a favour there. Lucky it didnt do the felt roof👍
@@deanbird3720 yea it was and saving the roof was the request but surprised how good it was. Thanks for watching 👍
🤠 is the DEWALT prunner worth buying 🫡🫡
@@Grahams-Grass mate I looked at them 18 months ago but didn't bother... wish I had as it's great. Bigger than others I've seen but had the batteries so went for than one 👍
