Crochet Baby Cardigan in Tamil | Infant Sweater | Newborn Jacket | Sara’s Innovations

Hi all,
In this video, we are going to see how to make a baby cardigan. The instructions below shows various size patterns.
Hook size:
New born- 3 months = 4 mm
6-12 months baby = 5mm
Count in the brackets represent 6-12 months size.
ch = Chain(s)
dc = Double crochet
sc = Single crochet Sl st = Slip stitch
Sp(s) = Space(s)
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Instructions:
Row 1: ch 46 (54). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook. 1 dc in each of next 5 (6) ch. (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc- V-st) in next ch. 1 dc in each of next 6 (8) ch. (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc) in next ch. 1 dc in each of next 14 (16) ch. (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc) in next ch. 1 dc in each of next 6 (8) ch. (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc) in next ch. 1 dc in each of last 7 (8) ch. Turn.
2nd to 6th (8th) rows: Ch 3. *1 dc in each dc to ch-1 space of next V-st. V-st in ch-1 sp of next V-st. Rep from * 3 times more. 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Turn.
Arm hole:
Next row: Ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 12 (15) dc. 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V-st. Ch 6 (8) for underarm. Skip next 18 (24) dc for Sleeve. 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V-st. 1 dc in each of next 26 (32) dc. 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V-st. Ch 6 (8) for underarm. Skip next 18 (24) dc for Sleeve. 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V-st. 1 dc in each of last 13 (16) dc. Turn.
Next row: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc or ch to end of row. Turn. 68 (84) dc.
Next row: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Turn.
Repeat last row until you reach desired length.
Fasten off.
Sleeves: 1st rnd: Join yarn with sl st to center of underarm ch. Ch 3. 1 dc in each ch or dc around.
2nd rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc around.
Repeat last row until you reach desired length.
Fasten off.
Sc in each st on the entire border.
Attach buttons.
