UPDATE: The wear on this wash and go was really good. 🙌🏽 My hair pretty much looked the same for the first 3-4 days, just got more voluminous as time went on. I didn't remoisturize my hair at all for these days and my hair STAYED so moisturized. Around days 5-8 I lost the shine in my hair (my hair isn't naturally shiny) but my hair was still very soft and hydrated. I remoisturized on Day 7 with some water, leave in and oil to keep my hair happy until wash day. I ended up wearing this wash and go for way longer than I intended 😄
Yesss you can do anything with your fine hair ✊🏽 The three products that made the biggest difference in me retaining length by giving my fine hair moisture and slip were 1. Leave ins (they give my hair slip and make it easier to accept moisture from heavier products) 2. Oyin Handmade Detangling Conditioner - the slipperiest (lol) conditioner I have tried 3. Deva Curl Wash Day Wonder - the GOAT for detangling, this has more slip than anything I have ever used in my hair
Finally, Finally, Finally, after searching high and low, i have found someone with fine hair much closer to mine. The routine that you use, the finger combing, the light weight products vs. heavier product, etc, all work best for me because my hair is fine. I have tried other techniques and products that other naturalistas have used and it does not work. But I am so glad I found your channel. I will be using more of your tips to get my hair longer. Thanks!
I made the mistake of using the honey leave in when blow drying my hair, it’s was so hydrating that my hair wouldn’t blow all the way out and kept reverting. The hydration is no joke and I love how it almost feels like it warms up when you rub it in your hand.
My holy grail wash n Go is the Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel & Curl Maker! My hair is low density fine strands normal porosity so I don’t use a leave in under the aloe gel. In the directions it says that you can use the aloe gel as a Leave in to give your hair moisture and definition so that’s what I did and I love it!
If your hair is fine I recommend from CRN is the Fresh Curl Revitalizing Hair Smoother which is a lot lighter leave in. I have used this by itself and I think it actually gives me curl definition. It’s also protein free! My other fave from her is the Algae Renew Deep Conditioner. Use with heat for like 20 minutes and it makes your hair so soft and revitalized
😍😍 Your results were amazing! My shrinkage has had me avoiding a wash and go since going natural 2 years ago lol. CRN Almond Jai Twisting Butter gives me my BEST twist outs. The definition is incredible!
I FOUND MY HAIR TWIN😭 the only thing is that have course strands, but you are the closest I’ve gotten to finding my twin. I could cry lol (IK dramatic).
Dem curls are poppin!!👏🏾 I love all of those products you used for the wash and go plus the curl love moisture milk!! Have you tried the Eden Bodyworks Almond Marshmallow hair serum? Lydia Tefera loves using that along with curl maker and she’s gets a bomb wash and go every time! I you’d like it! 😊
I've just started using Camille Rose Natural Moisture Milk and Curl Maker. I like them both but the curl maker best. I found I had to add vegetable glycerine to the moisture milk. I was looking for vegan and cruelty free products and they were the only ones I found.
You are sooo beautiful! I am loving your backdrop and your content! I have fine, curly hair too so I enjoy seeing products that work for you. If you're up to it; can you please try the Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls? Have you already? What about the Garnier masques and the Aphogee Reconstructor Keratin leave-in spray? I can't remember if I've seen you try any of them. TFS xo
Bomb results girl!! So question: do you like the honey leave in better than the Mielle Organics White Peony leave in? I started using that one last year because of your videos (we have very similar hair characteristics) and i LOVE IT!! Wondering if I should look into this one too? Great video! :-)
I like the shine & definition you got! Thx for going outside your comfort zone & using this product combo. Would love to see a review of this wash & go after a few days, ie 3-4 days later, as you've said your w&g's /gell only last that long. Long story short, please show us how it held up. Thx!
I have WNG envy! :-) Your results are beautiful. My hair is high porosity, fine with medium density ( I think...). And, coconut oil is a no no, so, many CRN products are not available to me. But I love, love, love the Curl Love Milk and use it religiously. Typically, I use it, followed by a mixture of castor oil and almond oil, heavy on my ends, for twist outs. I have the Almond Jai twist cream but I find I really don't need it, because I get great curl definition without it. And, it makes my curls too tight. Still seeking success with a WNG... What I would love to see you try is the new Super Stretch cream in a WNG.
I know I have high porosity hair but because I have fine hair strands I think I still will be able to do what you did with yours. I might even do this with a protective style...with a protective style I might only need 2 products instead of all 3. I'm not sure lol
Would you do a product review for "organigrow hair co"? They have a product line specifically for each hair porosity type. I just purchased the low porosity set and I'd love to see how best to use it from someone with hair like mine
I would love to see you do the Naturall Club deep conditioner please, and let me know your opinion on it, especially if you end up finding it beneficial on finer hair.
Hi Kenya! Your hair is amazingly beautiful and gives me hope! I also have fine natural hair, and my hair was much more full when I was relaxed. The transition between full to fine has been a struggle, to say the least. Ironically, I went natural for more volume because I love big hair. 😂 I can safely say that the joke was on me. In the future, would you be willing to do a video on how you handled the transition between your relaxed hair and natural hair? There aren't too many of us represented on RUclips, and I think many of us can relate to this topic. I'm sorry this was so long!

Thanks for responding. Really appreciated the update!!
The fact that your hair is fine and long gives me hope.
Thanks for the video. ❤

Omg I was thinking the same thing about my hair with Camille rose. Everytime I use it my hair looks weighted down. I also have low porosity fine hair.
Mrs Nelson I have low porosity hair and yes it will weigh your hair done. a little bit gos along way.
😍😍 Your results were amazing! My shrinkage has had me avoiding a wash and go since going natural 2 years ago lol.
CRN Almond Jai Twisting Butter gives me my BEST twist outs. The definition is incredible!
I the Rose. Especially the curl maker.

Yass you have volume. I felt your joy.
Let me go buy some Camille Rose!! I have fine hair too & I have been trying to find the right products
I feel the same way about wash and go's. I finally found out that finger coils work best my curls can't tangle within themselves.

i have been so busy but, i am catching up now. love how your hair turned out.

That hair is popping. I have fine medium/high porosity hair. Will this combo work for me? You had great results.

I am enjoying CRN products too. Your hair looks great!

Your hair looks gorgeous!
First day whaaaaat I love it! And yes to ramen noodles that’s me too lol
Can you repeat this style but swap the honey leave in for the coconut water leave in? I think that would make a great combination.

Heyy Devin! Thank you for watching 😊

Aww, thank you ❤️
Their milk was too heavy for me. CRN is a no for me. I really wanted to love them but none of the products I tried were what my fine, thin hair needed
