It's a shame, as I really liked the look of that design..
I'll bet that it's either poor machining or warping if the surface plates.
If tape fixes it though, and your happy with it, then that's all that matters 👍🙂
I have the slider, the grooves on the plate may be a little too pronounced , and the magnets are way too strong. Polishing the plates a little(or some break-in), and changing some of the magnets to something to a little weaker does the trick. Tape is another option because the grooves won't interlock with each other. the slider feels pretty good otherwise.

Hello i was looking to by a quiet fidget to use in meetings and a stubled upon the "Fluxx Designe INDX". Do you know this product, and if you are do you have any oppinion about it? IF you have any other suggestion for quiet fidget i would gleadly hear it.
I bought the cosmo nebula.... it's supposed to be quiet, but i haven't gotten it in the mail yet. But yeah at least that's an option for ya

(don't take this the wrong way) My friend do yourself a favor and invest in a - sharper knife? or in a sharpening kit! then you won't have to struggle withh packages! (it's alot easier to sharpen knives than you might think! )
Knives were my first fidget addiction..just started buying sliders cuz im addicted to the clicks. Also learned how to sharpen, helps sharpen the mind in a meditation type of way
