Its nice see the two religions coexisting, but shame about the north-south conflict. Thats probably why the speech was done in arabic and not turkish

Thank you for a nice video ,very well done ,All you said was true ,But Cyprus has been broken since 1974 when the world let Turkey invade Cyprus,it was very brutal, loads got killed raped ,260,000 refugee s from both communities.very sad ,Every country sat and watched that happen .Even the UK .which is a guarantor for Cyprus.Back then a labour government.but behind that it was the American s wanted Cyprus controlled ,Because of it's orthodox roots they didn't want the Russians to have taken over by Russia.Cyprus where it's geographic position in the middle east and close to eastern Europe the Americans wanted a base Cypriots refused, because we had British bases there we didn't need more troops ,so turkey ,Greece UK in NATO ,turkey was backed by USA government to take one third of the island CIA by Henry Kissinger and it's like that since 74

Thanks for your honest input. Politics really do ruin lives but im glad that the Cyprus I saw is living in relative peace nowadays and hope the both sides and reconcile their differences

@@travellinglostsoul7191 thanks for your reply ,oh yes there is peace now ,but it's not a free country Cypriots can't visit there town or village Turkey always threating Greece and Cyprus about invading and war now turkey wants to cut of greek Cypriots half the island in two states, before the invasion it was 80% greek Cypriot and 20% Turkish Cypriot, and now they want all the island .so not really peace actually situation gone worse ,all western countries got big businesses in turkey UK , Germany,France,Italy Spain , Scandinavian countries.plus the U.S ,so they favour turkey all the time
