Insane deal for a full-service legacy airline going that far, as I never get tickets anywhere near that cheap for Bangladesh or Saudi Arabia, both of which are much closer than East China or Taiwan. I guess the more competitive flight corridors are able to sell cheaper tickets. So far, the longest flight I've been on is my recent Virgin Atlantic flight from Manchester to Atlanta on an A330neo, which was a good 9 hours, but the flight was very comfy in economy with a decent selection of entertainment. I had a nice hot meal (mascarpone pasta) about an hour or two into the flight, followed by two rounds of drinks refreshments and then 'afternoon tea' about an hour or two before landing, where I was served two different sandwiches and scones with jam and clotted cream. Thereafter, my next longest flights that I remember were Istanbul to Dhaka (plus the reverse) in a Turkish Airlines A330 (2018 and 2021, so I flew to/from both the old and new Istanbul airports) and Chicago to London Heathrow in a United 767 (back in 2005 when I was moving to the UK), both 8 hours.

For £300 I don't mind eating same meal twice lol. Need to be grateful ha ha.

I will be 80 this year ( 2025) i lived in Hounslow in 1951 when i was 7 and came from Isleworth , there were mainly only white English people there then, i lived in Maswell park road , again only white English people there then, when i first arrived at the age of , 7 i went to Chatsworth school , it was tough in those days , they used to smack you if you were naughty, at 11 years old i went to the notorious Bulstrode school it wasnt very nice , it was a bit of a dump....Mr Dennis was the headmaster then and he was very handy with the cane , i suppose it wasnt to long after the war at that time, when i left Maswell park road at the age of 25 in 1970 , it still was mainly white English people there, going back to 1960 when i i was 16.... we used to have four boys who were the bullys at Bulstrode school,,,,they murdered a 17 year old lad ....and three of them were 18 and they got hung and one was 17 he got life in prison ( about 17 years ) you can look it up.....they were messrs Lutt, Harris , Forsythe , and Darby. happy days. Hounslow is a completely different place now.

There's like a point of "getting" like making a mark at an area of their existence(the different names than planned) to bug mind into storymaker's "stalking" movement of "knowing expression", means they somehow if suddenly gone, like biz can become normal again as due to sadness people can sometimes not move awhile and sit, then doesn't explore and spot around like a natural flow of "spread of mouth". When I come home to Ireland from where I live in Manchester, I usually shop in Dunnes for clothes that I can’t find in Asda, Tesco, Primark (Pennys) and in M&S - prices are usually the same, but the quality can sometimes be hit and miss in the Irish versions of U.K. high street chains - I had not realised that the food in Dunnes was so expensive since Covid though - the Primark in the Trafford Centre is terrible but Dunnes in Stephen’s Green and Blanchardstown is fantastic
