Man I have had previous experiene too and working as in intern right now at one of the biggest companies in Germany but earning minimum wage and paying a lot of taxes on that. I never saw jobs paying more than minimum wage to students.
For some reason I am paying 4 different types of taxes on my salary I dont know why.
As mention you are doing an internship so your contract might be a full time contract (More than 20hrs). If yes, In Internships you pay all the taxes as an full time employee.

You can visit anytime because if you go earlier you may get the extension on the basis of your blocked account. However, if you go late they might ask for a new blocked account or a work contract.
you can ask your seniors that how are things in your city and how long the ausländerbehörde gives you extension. Then you can plan accordingly.

depends on the work. for ex: my friend is working amazon full time at 19Euro Per hour. So you can do the calculation but you have to remember that taxes are also then super high.
