Its like dating app companies, they don't make money when people get a job (or love), they just make money while people are looking for it!
Criminalize ghost job postings
Exactly!
people lose jobs and they make money
worse, these companies don't even actually help you find jobs, they just help companies spam their useless ghost jobs
linkedin is cringe and creepy. Too bad its a social norm now by design
The cringiness makes browsing LinkedIn highly entertaining 😂
linkedin making billions and laying off linkedin employees ... idiocracy greedy 2.0
@mpxvm you have a farm, you employ 100 people, then you buy a tractor, now you only need 5 employees... do you still pay the other 95 people to do nothing useful/efficient? No you move with the times and make use of technology. You make the business as efficient as possible because everyone knows if you don't your hundreds of competitors will and then you'll be out of business.
@@sharpsticksnz4112 imagine all companies working with AI agents with 5% humans, 95% of humans became obsolete, no money, no sales, great achievement. 👍
@@MPXVM You aren't very smart, are you?
@MPXVM I'm not creating the tools. This is an inevitability. If super intelligence is created we'll all have more to worry about than our jobs. Even without AGI there are several near term bad outcomes for the majority of humans. I'd suggest we all try to adapt as fast as we can and accept there will come a day when we can't adapt fast enough.
Its approximately 30 dollars per month. A strong competition from Google or meta is needed for this monopoly
What are the negatives?
No direct contact
People wear masks on these websites.
The biggest issue I see is that, instead of these platforms becoming genuine intermediary between job seeker and job provider, they have become launching sites for side hustles...
They are advertising boards and not job portals sadly. Consider yourself luck if you find the job you wanted. Most of the Ads are made to look good for the company so their shareholders would assume everything is looking up and they continue to put their money on them.
Jobs or promotions?
Indeed is thrash
Only Naukri rules in India 😀
i will be changing this with my site inshaALLAH it will leave linkedin behind
Eleven billion dollars for people who never give other people jobs? Shameful.
Hire remote latinos, heard they do a great job ;)
Dios los bendiga 🙏
Be a good employee and do as you're told.
