Going 2nd can be tricky, though. You get resource starved if they shifter or called by whatever would be recycled at end step.

Master Duel does not reward you for how much time you invest in the game, quite the opposite I don't know why all of you always take it to a personal level.
@stone3706 I'm going to be running the deck pure as well once I pull/craft them. There's quite a bit of tech out there for the lp loss. Chicken Game is a huge help as is Frankenderp of all cards.
@johan3116 I wish they did. It's sorely lacking in that department, but we do at least have Cosmic Cyclone. Sucks it isn't searchable at all. You could run a thrust package with Duster, maybe? I'm pretty sure the deck wants to distrupt then otk with Star Leon anyways rather than break boards, so all gas no brakes (pardon the pun) is probably the way to go. (Upstart Goblin, Chicken Game, and Better Luck Next Time for pure draw power consistency and turn on effects)
@@johan3116 It doesn't really need it. Dragon Drive can Search Ghost Ogre, Dragite can negate if you have Carrie in grave, Hope Harbinger can be made with 2 level 8's etc. You aren't starved for options if that's what you want to deal with.
Try it out pure. The archetype already has some nice ways to lower your lp in engine. There's also plenty of ways to make it work with non engine. Chicken Game, Frankenderp, and Upstart Goblin (your lp just has to be lower) all make it function quite well. My only issue with it is that it's heavy on URs, unfortunately. It's still a very interesting playstyle that the punk version can't pull off. I'll make it because I already crafted the lvl 3 support for Goblin Biker. It supports this deck quite well.

Small bits of support does help a deck like P.U.N.K Gold Pride be a little better.

I love this deck, but it has 2 big problems: It is very bad going 2nd and runs out of steam really fast.

I've played tenpai with different decks, and I can say the main reason people are fed up with tenpai is because of handtraps overall.

P.U.N.K steals a lot of what makes GP great. I'd rather run three cosmic cyclones for the dip in LP
