if you take the ceramic ring magnets off of the broken speakers, you can use rtv silicone to glue them to the bottom of dollar store stainless steel bowls, or old pet dishes to make large magnetic parts/fastener trays/containers super cheap. the neodymium magnets from hard drives work well also. that's why i never scrap stainless steel bowls, pet dishes or magnets of any kind really. they're just too handy in the garage for remembering where you put the bolts from the wha-cha-ma-whos-it you were working on last week, but had to put on hold while you waited for the parts you ordered to come wandering over on the slow boat.
A repeater is used in redstone circuits to "repeat" redstone signals back to full strength, delay signals, prevent signals moving backwards, or to "lock" signals in one state. (lol)
It’s funny, from seeing him get a box to put all the snibbets in in the past, when he doesn’t do it, I sit here yelling “get a box” like I’m now some kind of scavenging expert.😄
Found this description of an hdmi repeater from a quick google search, "The HDMI Repeater enables to boost the HDMI signal via HDMI cable up to 45m. The special design allows the active circuitry to be powered by the HDMI cable itself that has 5-volts of power running through the HDMI cable. Plus the gold-plated connectors help improve signal and reduce interference."
Excellant video again mike, unfortunitly, we carnt dumpster dive were i live here in the uk, due to this covid crap, stay safe stay strong and wash those hands, see u in your next video
My man Mike, Dude you can have speakers thruout your whole house wouldn't that be awesome, rocken out in every room at the same volume; awwoooo! 😝😉👊✌👍🖖🤘
Yeah he is always leaving something behind but it wouldn't be Mike if he didn't. Cause just maybe another dumpster diver comes along and may really need those buckets. Never be too greedy cause you never know who is right behind you that may be in need. Sure he could take them and see around if anybody needs/ could use them. But he is busy got a job, a wife, curbside pickup, dumpster diving, and cleaning up most of what he gets just to take it to the scrap yard to make any $$$$$.
@@tonistillions1058 he is the breath of fresh air that every1 needs. Love the little bits he adds the sound effects. Top of my favourite vids. He is an all round interesting good bloke.
The BNC to VGA converter is just so you can run longer lengths of BNC cables for video signals. You can run around 300' of BNC, 150' of VGA, 50' HDMI before you need a repeater (like the HDMI repeater you found) to boost the signal. And that is not an Apple TV, it is an Apple Airport, basically a wireless router for networks.
Hey, Mike. I was watching a guy climbing into 2 large construction dumpsters but he used a above-ground pool ladder to climb in and out of one of the dumpsters to make it easier to get in since it didn't have those rungs to climb up into the dumpster. Apparently it wasn't too full because he had to use the ladder to climb out. BTW he pulled out a lot of scrap and wire and if wasn't for his red truck I'd swear it was you. But I thought the aluminum ladder idea might help make it easier to get in and out of those big ass dumpsters that aren't easy to climb in and out of. Stay safe and take care of yourself.

Hate it when I see fluorescent lights in the dumpster. They CANNOT go in any trash can receptical or dumpster. The chemicals and mercury in them can leach out into the landfill and ruin the water and other materials for humans. Wish you would take the lights and have your trash company take them to save the environment a little more. Saving metal is great, but fluorescent lights are worse!
Enjoyed your video. Lots of great finds. God bless you and be safe 😊

The “drawer thing “ is a fiber optic LIU . It mounts in a data rack and you would terminate fiber cable in it. Thanks for the video Mike!
Awesome
