I think it's more psychological than anything else, my scout lt shoots the same with or without.

Same here. It doesn't matter as we are dealing with such low energy than there is negligible so called recoil.

My favorite slingshot is a heafty $24 Amazon frame. Super heavy....
The Scout should just be sold with the weight imo.

Great video brother. Little jelly of your fancy contraption that follows you while filming lol

Bro, it’s a pivo! It’s pretty awesome. It’s not that expensive neither. If you want the link, I can send it to you. It’s definitely a game changer because it replaces the cameraman.

You can also get one on Amazon as well. Sometimes they’re running sales. But this is the main website.

Good tips..............I didn't purchase the weight with mine, but do plan to eventually as I agree, should make the frame more stable.

I shot mine for a while before I loaded the handle. Definitely noticeable! Great to hear from you brother! My brother was looking at my frame collection and picked up the one you made me. He loved it!!! Thanks again for such an awesome shooter and conversation piece!

Great video good those LT's are good looking frames dressed or undressed

So true. And I think that’s one of the great appeals to the frame is that although it has a lot of accessories, it can be shot bare-bones efficiently.

I wonder having extra weight on the tips would be any benefit just having the clamps in brass.

If it works for you and you shoot better its all a bonus . Personally after shooting brass aliminium wood and composite of all different weights i prefer a light catapult its all Personal preference i would say the biggest thing to get right is fork width to match your anchor point then repetition repetition repetition! Great video though 👌

Wait - is this a promo for Prof. C. Vandal’s latest academic publication “The Laws of Physics for Taters?” I quite agree with your central thesis, to quote the original German, “Je größer das Kissen, desto besser das Drücken.” This is why Olympic archers use all those counterweights and knife-throwers prefer heavier blades. Please post more vids on the technical aspect of slingshots.

i think a little weight in a slingshot makes it easier to hold steady. and if your slingshot isnt recoiling at least as much as your red ryder bb gun, then you aught to be shooting heavier bands 😁
