I think this video is underrated. I have a 1911 that’s only ever had issues with a Wilson Combat mag and it was the plastic binding on the rough edges of the magazine when depressing the slide stop.
I never thought of it before but after watching this video I checked out a couple of my Wilson mags and sure enough they could use a little smoothing. Makes sense, smoother feeding would make sure everything slipped past each other like it’s supposed to. I’ve used Wilson mags for years and years with complete reliability though. Great video sir.
OK, first, I'd like to ask WHY would you do this? Other than having waaaayyyyyyy to much free time on your hands. Secondly, WHY would you do this???????? I have ten WC mags 47D's, After 8000 rounds between them, I've not had one malfunction. IMO, why mess with perfection? If it ain't broke--don't fix it.
I can't believe you guys spend that much money on a gun that doesn't work. I have one gun that doesn't work. Its taking up space in my safe. Its a $1300 Kimber Ultra Carry II custom shop that will not feed HP ammo. I sent it to Kimber and paid two gunsmiths to try and fix it. It was supposed to be a carry gun. Get it. Ultra Carry? Junk. why would you want a gun that only shoots with a certain mag with a particular ammo. Back to my glock. Put a mag in, any glock mag. any ammo, pull the trigger and it goes bang. This fool just spent how much time and energy trying to make a multi thousand gun work.
Are you just seriously butt hurt or something, I’ve seen your same comment on several videos. Own two Kimbers including a Ultra Carry II (of which I didn’t pay near 1300 for by they way) have couple thousand rounds through each of them and guess how many feed issues....ZERO. Take any Kimber over your plastic piece of crap brick with a trigger, I mean Glock any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Thank you man, you nailed it. I have 3 Wilsons but the 10 rounder never worked. Until now!
Why?🤔
Can't return them now if they malfunction.
No silicone lube on inside or follower?
LOL. I just got a new etm that came with rough edges that made the follower sluggish.
Shouldn't have to do this tho. I just put oil on the follower
I tried the springs both ways and they feed better with the high part to the back of the mag. Odd but true...
MAX VOLUME?
I must be lucky. I've been using Wilson ETM's for years without issue.
Strange.
Cleaning a mag? Never heard of a clip cleaning before. But maybe to avoid dust jamming!

Or buy Ruger magazines and call it a day
What's up with the long fingernails???
He probably is a guitar player. Nails on right hand are long for plucking strings but left hand is trimmed short. Why would you care?
He IS a guitar player. It’s great to have nails when fingerpicking.
cannot hear this w/o external amplified speakers...
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, PEOPLE! :(
