Huh? Sandy Springs is a great place to live (there are some highly questionable areas), but it certainly does not have exceptional public schools. Charter or otherwise.
For excellent public schools, you should look nearby to East Cobb. Almost none of the 'questionable areas' and great schools from K-12 pretty much across the board. Throw a dart at a map of East Cobb and you'll be in a very good school district no matter what grade(s) your children attend. Housing can be reasonably affordable as you can grab a split-level from the 70's for around 500k give or take and either fix it up or tear it down for the lot. Similar homes in Sandy Springs would cost about 200k more depending on where exactly it's located.

All great points and I love East Cobb. I’m actually doing a couple videos there next week…One thing I want to clarify is when I highlight a suburb I’m not just comparing them to other suburbs and I’m comparing the whole package that comes with that suburb. Many of my clients are coming in from CA like we did, and even though Sandy Springs doesn’t have the best schools in the state they crush almost ever school district in my old neck of the woods…
Again, I really appreciate your insights!
