Yes! Quadraplating, (which means the silverplate had 4X more silver) stopped around the 1910's & 20s, but was hugely prevalent in the latter Victorian period. So it is guaranteed to be 100 years old MINIMUM! Love the etching designs on them...your sugar bowl is a beauty!
❤ I love tarnished silver, pewter, cast iron, enamel pieces blue/white transfer ware and also the red/soft white transfer ware, etc,,, I don’t care for anything gold, brass or copper which seems to be so popular now… I don’t decorate for each season…I enjoy what I have all year round… I love vintage, antiques with memories and character! I love your flavours! ❤
I'm so glad you got the trivets. Some can be worth money. I love them. People used them on their tablets to put hot dishes on. I found a brass one a few weeks ago, and it's worth over 100 dollars. They're beautiful.
I have a cherub vase like your's, but it has pastel colors on it! I have always thought it was quite vintage. I loved the silver sugar bowl. I thought, she's not putting that down, is she! Like the shopping tours and styling. I put the cherub out at Valentine's Day, but liked the way you have styled your's. You are giving me ideas. :)
Oh you scared me too when you almost dropped that beautiful cup! I always enjoy watching your thrifting videos and I love blue and white and silver so you got some good one on that trip.
Hi Danielle, you got some wonderful items in your haul. The quadruple silverplate is very old, and it's not a sugar bowl, but a spooner. Spooners were used in the victorian era to display different pieces of silverware, such as spoons, serving utensils, etc.
It was actually used as a waste bowl….. to was used to empty the cold tea and dregs in tea cups before refilling with hot tea, as there were often tea leaves in the bottom of the cups.
Cute finds! I love the patina on that silver plated piece. I’m assuming those round things are trivets but they’re awful pretty. I’m sure you’ll repurpose them in some beautiful vignette!❤
I have the same set of the blue and white cup you found. The pattern is Johnson Bros ironstone made in England called Coaching Scenes. I found cups and saucers and a few plates but that pattern has been hard to find. On the hunt for more. Great video. Blessings!😊❤
Hi, Danielle! I am grateful to see that your channel has grown to where you are doing collabs with other like-minded persons! and thank you for providing all the links. I realized why I fell out of love with blogs: they have so many ad links, it freezes my computer.
This is Grandma from Texas. The silver pieces you showed at the first look like hot plates. You would use them to set hot tea pot or coffee pot. I can’t see real well and I am on my iPhone so… in any case that is what they look like to me😳. Also I was thinking about your cherub planter. I’m like you I really don’t like putting dirt in my planters. Do you think (since you would like ivy displayed) you could use it to propagate ivy. Snip some off your plant and put water in your planter to grow roots off your cuttings. When your cuttings get root bound just remove and repeat. You can plant your cuttings or throw them in your compost. You can also replant and put in a lovely container and gift it. Well as you know I love your channel and appreciate all the hard work you’ve done to bring this wonderful content.
That blue candle holder was beautiful. I mostly collect brass and wood, but i have a few milk glass, crystal, blue & whites, green glass.. the blue would be a pretty addition😊 Love the like milk glass dear!! I have a rocking horse and a giraffe, would love to find more animals! Adore the litter cherub vase, glaf you grabbed it😊 The canister set was beautiful too! Ohhh my that desk was stunning!! Wish I could find one like that, at that price pig!❤ Loved the brass lamp, lamps are a weakness🥴 My grandma had one of those little glass spice jars she kept toothpicks in, like what you did to it! Enjoyed shopping with you, just wish i could have REALLY been there😄
😅Happy to see you picked up a cherub. I thought the little guy with the wheelbarrow was sweet. I love the little apothecary bottle, must go look into doing thqt. Bravo.
Great pieces Danielle! Looking forward to see how you style all of them. I can't believe you almost dropped the blue cup!!! I am so glad you didn't. Quadraplating- learned something new. Thanks so much for joining us today! It was super fun!! Keep hunting girl. XO- MaryJo
My eyes selectively focused on that Farrell's tall mug 7:08 because that was a famous ice cream place where I grew up in NEW JERSEY! how did it get to Texas?!
Hi, Danielle ..... You were on Fire on this one ! 🔥 .... How i laughed when you explained the Chamberpot lid .... Good job you spotted that as it would certainly have been a very unusual addition to your Dinner table at Thanksgiving and Christmas if you had purchased it unknowing ! 😂 Ha ha ! Great video, really entertaining. Liked that set of clear glass spice type pots you looked at. Thank you, lovely lady as always 👏😘👍😉🇬🇧
I would have given my "restraint" the day off! Love what you selected, I would have chose those items & MORE. I'm off to check out your collab partners.
Hi sweet friend! I love the handles and details on the sugar bowl so many different ways to use it when decorating. You have a great eye for finding the gems in all of that piles of things.😂 Thank for sharing.❤
Hi, me and my best friend enjoyed watching. We liked some of the items that you looked at and like the items you got. We wanted to say we hope we make your day watching and commenting on your vlogs. We hope you like that we watch your vlogs together and comment
I don’t think you’ve ever showed us. Do you decorate with antiques in your kitchen maybe the next video if you can make a small clip of your kitchen I like country farm style from my house it is 1925 and I put bits and pieces of it in my kitchen not much, but I have a lot of antiques in my kitchen already.
I’ve shown the kitchen in my home tour videos, but I don’t show it as often because I don’t like the double of it & since we rent I can’t change much. But it’s still decorated with old things :)
At 2:56 of your video there is a Silver oblong chafing dish that a lot of RUclips’s are using as a bible book holder to stand their bibles up in the frame part to display their books
I loved the lemon picture, but don’t think it was your style, so I’m not surprised you didn’t get it. The pricing at that store seemed random and unrealistic. Very odd.
I loved it to! But yes, I felt it didn’t match my style completely. And you’re right, their prices don’t make sense which makes me think it’s all donated with original seller tags & they just make up prices as they check you out.

I love how you thrift and then show how 16:25 you decorated with it. Love your style and all of your videos.
Loving the Cottage Blue!💙
Love your silver-footed bowl that you show in the beginning. Also, the crystal water pitcher (showed about halfway through) is stunning.
I love large mirrors paired with medium sized one as a wall display
Good morning Danielle, i love thrifting videos. 🪻🌷🩷
Great haul and trip. The silver disks with the "feet" are trivet for the dining table to prevent hot items from damaging it.

You could cut down the edge of a small round plastic nursery pot to fit in that planter.

Ivy can survive in water without any dirt. So no need to drill a hole in the cute vase. Just need to add water as it evaporates. You can google it.😁💕
Idk why I never think about this! I literally have some ivy in water right now hahah thank you for the reminder!

PS. The amount of silver at your thrift store is insane!!! I would lose Amy mind since silverplate is one of my weaknesses. MJ

So beautiful!! I love this and love the emphasis on seeing beauty in the imperfect. I would love more bouquet tutorials!
Those trivet things would be cute as cloche bases too. Great finds today!
Great ideas!
Nice finds
It might be a good idea to get the pan American Exposition mug for $10. It might be worth more than $300!!!
Silver round filigree pieces are trivets. I have one nearly like them.
Good morning Danielle! Whoa those prices are high today.
Enjoy your videos
Fake ivy for your cherub vase? There are some good looking ones out there!!! Love your channel!
I’m so picky about fake plants, so I’ll have to look harder for a nice one! Thank you for watching!
❤

Please tell me you bought that brass lamp base? Gorgeous!
No, I didn’t! :( I have a lamp problem haha so I try not to bring every single one home!
@@HomeMadeVintage I have the same problem...I get it. Lol
At 2:56 of your video there is a Silver oblong chafing dish that a lot of RUclips’s are using as a bible book holder to stand their bibles up in the frame part to display their books
I shared that in my last video! I got one for my bibles :)
@@HomeMadeVintage I should have known it. I watch each & every video you make for inspiration

Some of. The pieces. We're nice. The. Other. Not so good
I agree! It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack sometimes! Lol
