Seems on Russian planes it takes 4 persons to fly. Pilot, co pilot, the person who sits between them and controlling the engines and another person doing the navigating
5 person. Captain, first officer, flight engineer, navigator and radio operator

I always wondered with Russian planes, who is piloting? both pilots seems holding the yoke . ???? any one have a definite answer? please no speculations!!

That's a normal takeoff process for Ilyushin Il-76 crew. Nothing special. Russian and Belorussian crews are well prepared for much more difficult conditions and tasks.
