thank you! this is incredible expository teaching, with boldness. Oh my how we need this!! I would imagine this is what it was like to hear the Apostle Paul preach. Thank you again, Pastor, and I'll be in prayer for your ministy, family, upcoming conferences, etc. 🙏💜🙌
I knew there was a reason why I don't like the lyric "Check your shame at the door, cause it ain't welcome anymore." Our church sings that song unfortunately but part of the reason we don't do more non-contemporary big church songs is licensing fees I've been told.
How is that lyric different then what was sung in the closing of every Billy Grah as m Crisade, "Just as I am without one plea. . .where Jesus rescued me." He used tge great 20th century evangelist to reach millions, couldn't he reach others through imperfect lyrics in modern CCM songs?
This was good! Thank you for posting. Now that I realize that we, saints, are experiencing the consequences of the wicked, it would behoove us to strive to recreate or transform our nation into a Christian nation. This would actually benefit everyone including the wicked even if they wouldn't believe that they would be sharing in our blessings. I understood correctly. *edit. I hope I understood correctly.

@@NicoleCB Hi Nicole! We are as Christians to preach the Gospel and we are called to be Ambassadors for Christ calling people to right relationship with God through Jesus Christ for eternal life. 2 Corinthians 5 is the only mandate we are given to make disciples who love Jesus, love each other, love our enemies. We are not called to Christianize society. Joel Webbon believes Jesus came back in 70 AD and now we are to place the Law of Moses on societies and nations. This is false. As you said, Jesus has not returned yet, when Jesus comes we will see Him in our resurrected bodies, there will be no more war. God Bless and get to know Jesus and His word! As I’m sure you are. Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses, given to Israel, by obeying it perfectly, we could not. We who believe is given His perfect righteousness. Acts 15, Galatians tells us not to put the Law of Moses on the Gentiles.

You know the whole notion of "shaming" people doesn't make any sense to me, and I think it's been semantically manipulated so as to transfer blame from the sinner to the Saint. What actually happens, or the mechanism if shame if you will looks more like this: human sins, especially a culturally fashionable sin, but yet feels a sense of shame because despite the popularity of the sin, Gods law in their heart acts upon their conscience. Human cannot abide this just sense of shame , self imposed, keeping him up at night and darkening his waking hours so he looks to the righteous who may or may not be actively bringing attention to the sin, but may only be abstaining from it and not giving APPROVAL...And that is usually what "shaming" is nowadays, it's refusing to applaud perversion
@Mariann, I believe he said that the punishment of sin was a result at root of unbelief and the exchanging of truth for a lie. He said the sin can actually be considered a consequence. He also made sure to clarify that the temporal punishment of sin does not necessarily mean that there will be full and final punishment in hell. If the person continues in unbelief, there will be full and final punishment. However, if the person turns from that sin as a result of God’s punishing them in the temporal realm, he or she will be saved in the eternal realm.
@@monew632 Ok. I disagree. I agree that homosexuality is a sin, I believe the Bible points out situations and the general circumstances for homosexuality comes about, but it doesn't say it's the same for everyone.
A lot of social gospel interjected here for a Sunday but I don’t really disagree with anything. Not sure you will Christianize many jurisdictions with such horrible churches in the land
These pastors and prophets and whatever else they are as leaders need to take their message to the unsaved masses. What good is it telling the believers about it over and over again on the Lords Day? Take it to the world. Lead the way and then you will be able to tell how you were beaten, imprisoned, chased out of town etc. like those in the New Testament. It's easy preaching to the choir. Lead the way brother. Take it to the sinners.

Very encouraging. Thank you sister.
Me too. Please pastor continue to preach and teach us how God sees sin and man. May God bless you, your ministries and your family.

Pastor Joel, Thank you for your God gifted sermons. This is exceptional truth and serious reality! Excellent! Your my favorite pastor par none!
The children and infants babbling in the background make this sermon all the more important. It is a fight for their souls.

36:25 , well he wants shame to be gotten rid of. But sure, shame can come as a way to teach people or as a warning.
Not as a permanent condition
Christ took the shame of Israels Remnant on Himself.

So are you saying the Bible says All homosexuals are rejectors of God due to God's punishment?
Sodom would have repented in sack cloth and ashes. The gospel can save even the homosexuals!
