Ah, this is the beauty of music! The odd transition from the bridge to the final chorus is personally my favorite part of the entire song. Got to appreciate diverse tastes in music and execution. As always, loved hearing your review!
This was a very personal song and he wanted the feeling. The song I think gets so emotional as he sings it you can feel his pain. It was about his uncle and he doest sing it live to much.
One of greatest rock vocalist of this era. I never noticed the awkward transition until you pointed it out. And I agree it does sound a little odd. But great review as always.
@@ZoneXVI consider Myles Kennedy to be up there with Brent. In fact, if I had to choose I would pick Myles over Brent. AB, Slash, Solo and Mayfield four. Brent was my favorite for a long time but Myles has slowly taken over. I know Myles' voice isn't for everyone and it's all subjective but I feel like Myles' talent can certainly compare with Brent's vocals in rock music. Rock on!
@@Corrow20Have you actually heard everything Brent has done. Smith and Myers and his 1st band Dreve. I think Brent is better just because I have heard every song he has done.
@@maryhelenbuchele7342 yep. I even ripped all the Dreve songs I could find from RUclips, among several live and acoustic versions of songs so that I can listen to them on my phone and iPod anytime. Myles is in his 50s and still sounds really amazing and doesn't seem to have lost anything. Let's put it this way. If anyone wants to put Brent first you have no resistance from me. It could go either way and I'd pretty much agree with you.

Brent wrote this song about his uncle who died. He can’t sing this song without breaking down. Those guitarists are no longer with the band. 🥲
Didn't sound awkward to me,sounds like they pulled off something most bands can't do

Might be the first time I've actually seen David play the bass during a reaction, love it, hope to see it more.
He does it periodically, I agree
I've busted them out a few times here and there.

Good
Awesome breakdown man! Brent’s voice is TOP notch still! I do get your point.
I consider Brent to be one of the absolute vocals of modern rock music for sure. I'm honestly not who I would put above him from the same era.
I love Brent seen them 8 times & will again in September. ❤
