Appreciate the showcase! Just backed the Kickstarter for the same board. What mods do you plan to do? ^-^ It's shame that the black version wasn't available with the larger battery. I'm sure they'll remedy that later though.
Hey man, love your videos! I love this keyboard, but I want one that has multimedia keys and possible an LCD screen - do you know of any that are similar sounding to the Rainy 75 but have multimedia keys + maybe a screen?
If they’re sold at the same price, I would definitely prefer Rainy75 for the aesthetics and slightly more premium build quality. Sound wise I’m not too picky as both can sound really good, but for M1W you have to experiment a little bit more with the mods as I’m not a big fan of it’s stock sound.
@@sgist7824 in this case I would personally go with the Rainy75. The stock keycaps are decent although not great, but I really like the switches which came with the Rainy75. For you the situation might be different, depends on whether you like the sound and the looks of the keycaps or you would rather save the £28 to buy some other keycaps and switches.
Yes, it sounds pretty close to this in real life :) It's impossible to be 100% accurate, regardless of the setup, but I'd say it's pretty close, as far as my ears can tell.

Wondering how it would sound modded? Check out ruclips.net/video/z1HELCwFRIY/видео.htmlsi=X4mcd9dyRb2U1-Sa
The most underrated video style ever. Like holy the quality of the video is insane
Thank you so much 🙏, I appreciate your feedback.
That spacebar!

I’ll have to experiment, and hopefully something nice comes out then I will share it :)
this one got no rgb right? and there should be no PET Foam in stock build.
Yep! The black variant has no RGB, it is also the cheapest. I have yet to open up the board, but I do have plans to mod it (hopefully soon!)
@@MechWhisper waiting badly ^^
review the bk75 please! it’s a really good prebuilt keyboard and it sounds really thocky

The closest I can think of is XVX K75 Pro: ruclips.net/video/0HFwSQ8pw3Q/видео.html
@@MechWhisper Thanks man! You're the best. What would you say the down sides are to the XVX over the Rainy 75?
@@reevo1 I’d say the biggest downside is the software, it doesn’t support VIA unlike the rainy75
Have you also tried the JWK switches on the rainy 75? Also are you using the fr4 or pp plate in the video?
Nope I’ve yet to try the jwk switches on this board, it’s using PP plate
Hi I appreciate this video thank you. Do you have any thoughts on the Monsgeek M1W, am torn between that and the Rainy 75

@@MechWhisper the difference is about £28, Monsgeek is cheaper as is barebones and Rainy75 is more expensive, comes with switches and caps though

@@MechWhisper thanks so much, from what you say seems like you feel the base unit for Rainy75 is more premium?
Would you say the keyboard sounds like this IRL as well? Or is there a large difference between the vid and irl :)

@@MechWhisper thanks for the fast reply :) When you took the board apart, did you find a PET plastic layer or nah?
How hard did you press to test flex? Compared to yunzii al71 which one has less flex?
Idk about the al71, but rainy has got decent flex. You can replace the case foam with polyfill if you need even more flex.
@@MechWhisper contrary, I dont want much flex :D idk much about keyboards, but will modding the keyboard with tape reduce flex?
I doubt it will make much of a difference. In that case you should probably keep the case foam in.
How do I get rainy 75 with ziewi switches I can’t find it anywhere
Looks like they renamed it to the Crape Myrtle switch, I'll update the links in the description.
Is this the Lite black version?
Yes, it has no RGB
what the sigma
Hi8 vs rainy75, which is better?
