Make friends with a family with young ones you can grandmother! We moved away from our families, and an older woman became "Grandma Teresa" to our kids. They love her, we love her.

I'll leave the giving my parents grandchildren bit to my sister as she already has a daughter and wants another baby. I personally don't want children and never wanted children. Even at an early age when my own grandfather would say, "Oh, you'll have ten kids when you grow up." I'd look him dead in the eyes and say, "I don't want kids, grandpa." 😂

Oh chill. My grandparents also had a hutch of wine. Plus their visiting to show the baby. I don't think grandpa and grandma are going to chug while holding the baby. Just cuz they have booze doesn't mean they are dangerous raging alcoholic's or don't know how to keep kids away from the booze.
