Great review. I nabbed this earlier today and have really been enjoying it. My spouse and I both speak Mandarin, and the story is so good that my spouse keeps dropping everything to watch, drawn in by the audio. Also, it's nice to see Chinese to English subtitles actually done well for a change, lol. Fun fact: the Mandarin being used is quite old-fashioned, which adds to the feeling of the game taking place long ago. The frame rate is a bit distracting from time to time, but overall I'm still having a blast, and look forward to completing the game soon.
That is extremely nice to know I appreciate the information, I can speak a bit of mandarin myself however my ability to understand the language is still lacking. So it’s nice to know the English subtitles are actually close in context to what is being said. Can deal with the farmerate issue no problem so long as the story and gameplay is solid.
I played this on PS4 and happily pre-ordered it knowing it was coming for the Switch. I loved this game. Note: Many of the same issues existed on the PS4. Particularly the lag and fluctuating framerate. So its not just a Switch problem. I think its just the game.
I really like the colour palette of this game (!) I know it sounds like I'm "damning with faint praise" but I find it really appealing... It's giving me a sense of nostalgia, but I'm not sure why
Well this was a surprise, I’d never heard of this one but I like what I’m seeing. I guess you choice is static play to on the go, personally on the go for me!
It even had issues on PC however does not take away from a great game with engaging story and gameplay, however previous installments IIRC are turn based. The series goes back to the 90's so holds a very significant place in gamers hearts, especia;lly in Taiwan. For those who do not own it yet IMHO the limited Edition is the way to go., ontop of a collectors box, and a Artbook, it also includes the games soundtrack which is outstanding.

Darn I was hoping for a souls level challenge in the combat. Still looks good but more of a wait for some patches for performance and a sale.
Performance is so bad ☹ And even with the GPU overclocked to the max, it doesn't get to 30 fps most of the time.
