Saved $400 by passing on this one. You can’t charge broadway prices and have it look like sub-par regional theater production.

You’re really not gonna like it 😭 production value is not worth the price of the tickets…

I'm kinda curious about this, because I know people had issues with the past version. But very excited to see this version

This is the new non-Union cast that everyone is complaining about?

Have you actually seen the quality of the show? They are charging Broadway touring prices for high school/community theater level quality. If the ticket prices were the equivalent of high school or community theater then fine you get what you pay for but you can't charge an arm and a leg for tickets when the quality just isn't there. I feel bad for the actors hopefully they can find better jobs because this is just wasting their talents.

Your set and costumes are terrible. The show was subpar. Shrek does not have hair, and donkey is literally wearing a sweater/hoodie for a costume. The actors deserved more, and so did the audience. Shame on you.

Totally agree! Just saw it myself and the quality of the show is equivalent to a high school production (the actors were good tho). Very disappointed.

Just saw it in Atlanta last night and totally agree with your post. Hated the Shrek child puppet as well as the creepy ventriloquist heads for Shrek's parents. The puppets used for the young versions of Fiona were creepy too. There were some cute, funny parts and the cast was terrific but definitely not worth the price of admission. There were also issues with the volume of the mics after intermission which was causing a weird echo effect. The center spotlight in the back of the stage kept blinding us. Everything seemed rushed. After intermission, I don't think Lord Farquaad ever sang a whole song. And with Lord Farquaad being as tall as everyone else, there were no "short" jokes. Disappointed that there wasn't more information about this being a revamped version when the tickets went on sale.

Cecily is going to be the best Fiona to ever hit the stage. Very excited about this production.

The actors and performers are great but the production quality is awful. What a shame
