This was very helpful except you lost me when it came to changing the background colour. When I right click on the background nothing happens. The little window that opens for you doesn't open for me.
Moving from my very dated desktop to an iMac and so happy this is still here to help me resetup my workspace.
That was a good chance to do a quick tune up. I didn't even think to close some of those tabs (like paths) that I never use. Thanks!

hi i cant seem to find the preferences tab?? i have a hp laptop
I don't have the adjustment button in the top right corner. I have Color, Swatches, Gradient and Patterns

So I followed you all the way to preferences. Then you lost me because I have a window pc and not an Apple computer. I like to see stuff too.
It is exactly the same, you just need to change the preferences 👍
