It's hard to undersand how they could leave a place like that go to shambles. Make a nice community center. Who would want to look at that from their window.
Who else would take us to an ex Soviet spa in Armenia? So sad it wasn't repurposed for the citizens. The fact it's so recent is mind:blowing! Empires crumble, but some left more lasting legacies!
And to think, if they had just put in a few tennis courts, some hoops, maybe even a ball field of some sort it would probably still be in use today. Nobody would be saying, "Hey, who owns this basketball hoop?" They would just be playing on it. At least in my experience.
