Finalizing everything. How would ice harnessing, ice damage, ice conversion gem on weps fare? Is your gem where you do more damage when theyre at 70% essential compared to the ice dam conversion gem. trying not to full send all my resources and materia into one build, looking at admiral set as a base to be able to throw in musket, bow, ig, etc
it would be good for overall consistent damage i.e light attacks etc but not running an opal/emerald/onyx means we lose bleed damage as those gem procs boost bleed number whereas conversion gems dont, and on this build every extra bleed dmg is essential since it gets multiplied on consume by 1.5 (150%) , left side bottom rapier perk

I built this build with heavy armor, sns, and 250 con, 250 int, the rest dex.
With flurry, its pretty nasty, and you can fight the clumps, get bleeds on the whole crowd, then single one out, fluury into finish and they normally die

What adjustments would need to be made to go for heavy/medium armor players? Ive watched all your testing iterations so far. Looking to try and build a variant that can look for kills on any armor weight.
when they made the changes to onyx/moonstone gems to resist bleed damage, makes it very hard for us to kill heavy players who already have high base armour + they normally run 20% + physical resist gems but its still possible with 3 stacks if you hit a tondo and see the bleed tick for 140+
Telling me to watch the bleed tick for 180+ is what makes you a top tier content creator bro.
I'm consuming NW like crack rn, learning all the subtleties. started in Oct, so I hyper appreciate those little details.

I have a question for anyone who might know:
I always see people using runeglass of a different kind of damage in the secondary weapon. Wouldn't be make a bit more sense adding another Punishing Runeglass in the IG also, so the melee would deal 2% more damage?
Also, if we add runeglasses in jewelry as well, wouldn't this and the above statement sum 5% more melee damage?
Finally but not least, Rn I am harassing a bit in OPR thanks to your amazing content (following the steps of the master). Thanks for inspiring us.
The IG doesn't do "Melee" attacks, which is what the Punishing Runeglass increases. And the weapon Runeglass is only applied when that weapon is out, so having a punishing Runeglass on the IG ends up being pointless. Better off with the Cruel Runeglass as that increases damage done to enemies affected by CC, which the IG does a lot of.
You may see some people, like Caniix, who use different element Runeglass than what their weapon is to maximize their potential damage. In the case of the IG, if someone has frozen protection, at least the electric Runeglass, when proc'd, won't have it's damage cut.
You can't add Runeglass to jewelry, unfortunately, but you would be right.
perfectly explained =] also the d.o.t runeglass doesnt stack if its of the same type on both weapons hence why you use different ones on each
can i throw in light attacks with the rapier or does that throw the whole thing off? like IE: when they have 1 or 2 bleed stacks can i do a couple light attacks in there while kiting or does that mess up the whole thing
if you’re able to get them in without taking too much damage then go for it, but in majority of cases those trades are never favourable to this build unless they are running away for example, and not attacking and you just go for some free hits/tracking pull
when going for the finish, don’t waste time on anything else after the tondo because every second lost on the bleed is alot of damage lost
What do you think refreshing on Ring instead of Earring to have Regenerating or Nimble added ? Isn't that more value than Purifying heart?
purifying heart is the reason im able to survive on such low con + no featherweight. It’s all preferance really but the only thing i could ever consider swapping around in terms of value would be refreshing on the ring like you say and then healing heart on the earring with ankh boost =]

out of all the versions i tried i think this is the strongest to guarantee the one shot (boots empower) + best synergy with shirking heals but more consistently i found the attuned leather pants to be since i could run 150 con while keeping the same offensive stats, but at the cost of some damage from empower so sometimes it wasn’t a one shot
the fire staff makes it so that u just need 1 bleed stack to kill in most cases, you just need to chip them down with fire staff abilities and attcks, then burnout into their face to hit the combo on rapier to finish them =]
I come back to this video every now and then as it was my first complete build and still using it to this day lol people do be sleeping on the bleeds on my server

Im wondering if applying a rend would give more damage at the time of the bleed application I.e. rend with the off hand, empower as high as we can and then apply bleed. Buff with debuff
yes rend and empowere count at the time of applying the bleed and the same way weaken wont debuff your damage whilst you perform the finish on the previous stacks
@@caniixcash. Yeah the quest to target mediums and heavies with a higher chance of succes might be coming to a close lol, that's ofc why I was thinking rend, - you think running a strong rend focused keen speed off hand would be enough to two to do mediums and maybe some heavies or naw
being new enough to not understand nuance enough yet, I'm thinking you're saying it's really not so much the armor thats the issue but the resist on the gems - Which is why to kill light players with two stacks, you have to full send so hard with this build on nearly pure damage?

@@Kirkland_Drip @JymLightman_AbrodolfLincIer_ED i understand what you're saying completely :) to be honest it just fits my playstyle best and its what i enjoy most being this glass cannon style assassin to one shot other squishies in a blink, this variation is what ive had most success with and i have tried quite an infinite amount of things, but what you're saying can be possible if built the right way, but to be able to contest medium and heavy players and apply 3 stack bleeds on them you would also need to be atleast in medium to be able to trade with them in melee range, also in this case i would swap out evade for flurry and get the ability perk on your gear for more sustain + extra bleed stack (i had this response to the previous message you wrote but you edited slightly)
Light players dont normally run much onyx/slash gems and also their base armour is very low which is why its so easy to 1-2 stack kill, with heavy there are alot of factors at play with increased armour rating & whether or not they run slash protection etc

@@caniix it is a way to rebind L key? Default its "raid manage" and there is no option for this in game ;/
@@MizukVert any binds which the game doesn’t let you change you must do it from the game files on your pc i also had this issue with some keys
@@caniix ikr ;/ can u tell me what file and what line need to change? tried to find it but can't... found file rebindings.xml but i dont see any key related to L or Raid Manage
@@MizukVert im not 100% sure because i had someone also do it for me that knew and i streamed on discord for him 😂 but i know you are in the right place, somewhere in that file there is a bind that you can change manually for left movement and you would just type 'L' beside it

@@caniix that’s super neat, what’s the logic? Does onyx set up your combo opener such that the bleed dmg is higher? And does that translate to bigger burst than, say, emerald?
@@therealzeem i play for a x2 stack execute, if they are above 70% health, the onyx boost on the bleed damage will make it enough for me to one shot them from that hp, if they are below that threshold then the build doesnt need any extra damage from 2 stacks to execute thats why i think emerald is kinda useless just overkill =]
what do you think about the new creed boots on this build?
will be interesting to try a few new artifacts like that and the chest piece to see how they interact with the build, it sounds pretty good if you ask me right now ^^

I don't work as fast between skills and skills as you do, at 205ms Target had a chance to avoid it often. Can't Asian people use Rapier?
rapier must be harder than most weapons to use on high ping :(

i still cant pull off the full combo fast.. ;( and it is really optomised to the fullest, to get the max damage outta ur finish etc
yeah it takes time to get it down, you might need to sit yourself at a test dummy for a while, play around with binds and make sure each button is being pressed by a different finger to optimize your timing =]

does this one shot 200 con lights by chance
it depends on a few things tbh, if they're wearing featherweight & also how much slash resist they have since the changes to bleed resistance, after the first tondo when looking at the bleed tick you can more or less calculate after playing the build some time, if the ticks are more than about 180 then x2 stack will oneshot (as long as no vigor etc)
This build is abit easier to manage with s5 combat changes, especially with IG animations
will give it a go again soon, i imagined it would have been harder since its a full kiting build and dodging/movement is kinda fucked rn

@@alpraNW im not sure that would be too good since crit doesn’t boost the bleed damage and the 15% damage will be used up on the tondo before going for the finish but i havent tried it myself who knows. I was thinking maybe natures wrath might be pretty good so i might test that out
Why not run thrust dmg on ring instead purifying heart

thrust damage will only boost the damage from the thrust part of the attack, which is only the flourish and finish part (about 2-3k damage), the bleed consumption is not thrust damage and wont be affected by it and that is the relevant part of our damage (8-14k x2 stacks). Purifying heart on 100 con with no featherweight is the reason im able to survive alot of times and cleanse my CCs or d.o.t.s and its not worth the extra 7% boost on a 2k hit in comparison to this =]

Seeing alot of creators dropping freedom lately, ThaCousin swears by it, whyd you choose to ditch it? Was just watching your older content and you at that considered freedom BiS. Did you skipl cap just increase and you didnt need it as much anymore
i think freedom is a great perk, problem is these days its hard to fit it with the damage resist options there are & also the type of build, if playing 300 dex build its kinda useless since the 300 dex perk gives a free cleanse every 15s.
As for specific type of build i swapped off freedom on this becuase playing 100 con melee with no featherweight means that if you get CC’d you are dead in a blink even if you had x50 freedom 😄

He's 100 con light with like 800 resistance, in a meta full of sns spear heavy players with 3k resistance. Of course he's going to die a fair amount, you gotta respect playing a build with the highest skill ceiling in the game.
